The Hynade CUT60DN is a free hand plasma cutter but with the added features of plug and play CNC connections.
Not all plasma cutters are created equally, most cutters produce high frequency interference that can damage CNC equipment, the CUT60DN is a blow back pilot arc start and is designed to work with most CNC plasma cutters.
If you are interested in a Crossfire CNC table I definitely recommend considering this plasma as a great affordable plasma cutter for your table.
This is the Crossfire CNC plasma table from Langmuir systems

Hi Mike, I've watched all of your reviews on plasma cutters as I've been in the market myself. I'm planning on a handheld machine, but I have some dexterity issues. I run a manual only shop and I'm not interested in bringing a computer in. I do have interest in a plasma table, just not CNC. Back in the days of torch cutting, there were pattern tables that allowed you to mimic most basic shapes. More useful to my needs, there used to be a popular accessory that was nothing more than a guide rail about 18 inches long that assured a straight cut. I was kind of planning on manufacturing a water table and some simple rail system like this. I will almost definitely be building it in such a way that the plasma cutter can be quickly removed to be used manually. I believe at least 60% of the time I will just want fast casual cuts like this. I was fairly set on the best Arc until this video. It can be rather difficult to compare these side by side. I don't have any firsthand experience running a plasma cutter though I'm very familiar with a machine shop otherwise. For my particular use case, do you think having these CNC ready features would still be beneficial? Are there any downsides to normal manual use? Thank you in advance for any guidance you have to offer

Mike, this out of sequence but a thought you may see & use on the center-articulation tractor you build removable front fenders for. Since you can remove then in the field, find a spot and weld two squares these can be stored in. Like the side the the dump bed! It is better that tossing them into the back to get scratches or bent. Just a thought. I worked on our family farm equipment since I was the oldest but this was before you were born. But leaving home at 14 (Family issues) but never went to tech school or high school did have a shop. But I spent my entire life working on vehicles & the last 7 teaching & holding tech seminars in 7 Midwest states before Dr. pulled the plug on working. Had a boss argue for 20 minutes to run a rented jumping jack earth compactor at 28 and destroyed my back. It got better to work at dealer, but old age has this “arthritis” thing and had 11 procedures, finally implant with spinal electrodes and they placed them wrong. So can’t even walk, just enough to mail box. Enjoyed the build surround by tools and use them ten minutes out of every 2-3 hrs. I had no cell since 2008 and KZbin has been fun. I have to learn aftermarket parts to build a 67 C10 to have a vehicle. At 6’ 3”, I don’t fit well in most even average weight but getting in & out is real hard. The truck fits and given free. A EFI Tahoe engine will make reliable and the OD auto I built on bench 2019 will help with fuel and made to handle 600HP with a basic stock 390 HO engine so I don’t have do repairs. All GM parts that are common & priced well. But, I have to get room in my garage as it is a 1 1/2 car to begin! Enjoy the vids, but having a place to hang your fenders when off is an idea.

I've been wanting something like this for a while now. I've always been concerned about having it in a Michigan garage that isn't heated. You made sure to point out that you had ice on your table. Is the cold not as big of a concern as I make it out to be? Obviously, if it's in my garage I would probably drain the table in the winter during periods of non use.

Hey sir! Thank you for making this video. I was on the fence about what to buy. I had ordered the CUT80, but it never arrived. Amazon said it was lost in shipping but looking at the tracking info, it never shipped. Any way, I ordered the CUT60 instead, as they had that one in a local warehouse. I was still considering the primeweld. I have there TIG 255 and love it. But after watching your video I am going to give the Hynade a try. Do you have any setting information for the CUT60 to set up the THC and the post for the CNC setup. The manual that comes with it did not provide any Torch working height, piercing, arc voltage, or piercing delay recommendations, nor any kerf width setting. I know these will have to be tweaked for my machine, but it would be nice to have a starting point.

@mikefestiva, What did you connect the arc voltage and signal control to on your cnc cutter?

Hi Mike: I think I saw a video that you made, over on Amazon, for the ARCFONY Cut53N plasma, cutter, and the ARCDROID. At least somebody did a really good impersonation of your voice if it was not you! I’m about ready to pull the trigger on that Cut53N, as it looks really good with the exact features I want such as a front panel pressure gauge. In truth, I am probably going to have bought it by the time you put out a video on it. But just in case you are about ready to pull your own trigger on releasing that video, know that there is someone here that would dearly love to have a confirmation that this is a good purchase. I’m also very interested to hear your assessment of the arcdroid. Really, I was only looking for a simple plasma cutter with blow back pilot arc, and a Front panel pressure gauge, and of course, for a lowest price. It’s amazing how difficult that combination seems to be. Plenty of high frequency, low-cost options, but getting what I wanted appears to have been difficult. I was not overtly looking for the CNC, but if I can get exactly what I want in the other areas, and only have to pay a few more dollars for the CNC, then I think that raises this product to a bye. Thanks for all you do!

Hey that’s probably a video from me, I sent one to the guys at Arcfony showing them that the plasma works great on the Arcdroid. They sent it out to me about 5 months ago to see if I liked it, they have been showing me photos and talking about features with me for the past year as they developed it. It’s been a great plasma so far especially for the bargain price. I have a video coming out next Friday showing how I made a down draft cutting table for my Arcdroid, the Arcfony Cut53N is used in that video as well. I think you will like the video. I plan to cover a few more videos using the Arcfony with the Arcdroid this summer on projects. Take care 😊👍 Ps I’m talking with them about a 05MIKEWELD promo code that would save people 5%. Hopefully I can get that worked out when the video post on Friday 👍

Great video Mike. Which plasma cutter would you recommend, the Arcfony CUT53N or the Hynade CUT60DN for plasma table cutting up to 1" thick steel plate?
@Mikefestiva
@Mikefestiva 8 ай бұрын
Well I really liked the Arcfony for 3/8” and thinner metal, it works really well and never misses a start on any cuts. If you are looking to cut 1” I wouldn’t recommend either plasma cutter. You probably want to get at least an 80 AMP plasma cutter. You are looking to cut way heavier steel then most people do so you are looking at probably spending some extra cash for a bigger machine capable of 1” Capacity and greater duty cycle.

I followed your lead and bought the Cut60DN plasma cutter from Hynade a few days ago. I have been trying to wire up my Langmuir table with the THC module, but I am having some issues with trying to get everything connected up properly. There are a Torch On/Off connection and a THC connection that are both mounted on the Langmuir control box, that I assume need wires connected to both for them to work properly. I also bought a Torch Height Control Module and there are a lot of connections to be made to it There are the DIV INPUT, the DIV OUTPUT, the PV OUTPUT , and those are the ones located on the ends. Then there are two more connections, one marked TORCH (black) and one marked CLAMP. (red) on the flat sides. I probably forgot to mention that I am very electrical wiring challenged when it comes to making up proper connections. CN YOU HELP ME PLEASE?!

Got my Cut60DN in yesterday. Used it just a bit today. Keeps loosing the flame. I did have it under 20 amps on a 110 circuit. Need to get a 220 in the shop.and the metal was rusty. Do you know what is the min. air requirements to be stable on a CNC?

What cut speed and amps do you use for 16 gauge sheet metal. I just got the pro and the Hynade Cut60 and the machine torch.

What air compressor are you using? I'm in the market for this product and a air compressor, for the crossfire XR from Langmuir. Just having issues figuring out what is needed. Thanks!

Possible replacement for my original CUT 40 from 2004. I was planning to replace the torch with a grounded torch to get it working for CNC, but may not be worth the effort. Watched video over on Making Stuff on a pre-production YES CT2050 plasma cutter/Tig/ARC welder with built in compressor and dual voltage that interests me as well. Thanks for the reviews.

Sounds like you got a great run on that Cut 40! This Hynade being a blow back pilot arc start is really nice and works great especially on paint or rusted surfaces. The fact you can always add it to a CNC table down the road is a big benefit also 👍
