Watching the Lions/49ers game last night, I was again impressed with the fire and emotion that Ben Johnson displayed on the sideline. Pissed off that the little things weren't being executed properly. A disciplinarian and an innovator. Sign the man. Jerry infamously said that there is no amount of money he wouldn't spend to win a Super Bowl. Put your money where your mouth is. We need Ben! As a soft and cozy fallback for Jerry, I'd be okay with Zim and an OC taken from McVay's, Shannahan's, or Ben Johnson's offensive staff. I would really get excited for the former, but wouldn't be mad at the latter.

Jerry says, he wants to win., but this past offseason proved to me that Jerry cares more about money and the brand rather than putting a super bowl team on the field. instead of looking for a stud running back to help the offense stay on the field in the forth quarter of games. Jerry is looking for a truck sponsor for the team. We are reminded that it’s true, every time we watch a game and see him flipping his shade in the rearview mirror in a Ford king ranch. Jerry’s arrogance and greed has distorted the teams focus. And last 30 years have proved my statement correct. Just listen to what Troy Aikman has to say about Jerry and the front office . Don’t know how you continue to look in the mirror every day and find the strength to continue reporting on a soap opera called, The Cowboys.

Dallas could win just as many games as they do with Cooper Rush as Dak Prescott. You can’t spend that much money on one player, that’s not even top ten, in a game that is this physical and expect to have them for a full year. You got no depth now. Jerry’s always thought his players are the best, either that, or he just doesn’t want to admit they made a mistake. He always pays top dollar for players in his organization that nobody else wants, at least not for the money he’s going to pay them. You’ve hit the jackpot if you’re one of Jerry’s draft picks.

The league looks at them stats & not cumulative stats like his 3rd down conversions, red zone efficiency, game on the line, 3rd down conversions in 4th quarter one score games, etc. Give me all them stats & give me the top 10 qbs in the league with stats that matter when winning a ballgame, then you might have an argument. Controversial, perhaps, but the Cowboys should work to get a Mack style trade package for Micah... before he wears down. We already see him hurting and being abused by big tackles while playing at DE. Great talent, but not the smartest guy, and wants way too much. If the team gives him the $40M he wants, you may as well mail in the next four seasons as a few players will be eating up the bulk of the cap.

I don't really understand a lot of reactions from fans. It was obvious after 'all in' morphed into 'keep our powder dry" that this was a burner year. The money, cap, contracts all align in 2025. Plus, we got 7 wins. If i could have seen this schedule last year and healthy I would have picked us at maybe 9. Going into the season this year with the subtractions and whatnot, I would have still said a hard 8, new defense. But with these injuries coupled with a shocking deterioration in MM's coaching, play calling, and schemes (which weren't all that to begin with) and I'd say you are nuts if you think they'll win 7 games. A little luck in weird ways helped. A little more and we're at 9. So the major roster churn and talent infusion next year to this core (BIU my arse) with the right new HC picking his own, right coordinators? We're' in business. Until 23:21 then, play Lance, Pawn (Mingo), and Flo. Dalvin and Hunter, I'd sit Rico.

We've had good for a long time including w/Garrett. We need a couple years of great.! The Joneses should never have made Dak highest paid player. I like Dak. I think he's a very good QB.! But he's top 10 in my book. Was top 5 in for awhile to me. I know people will say he was runner up for MVP in '23' but go back through that season. He and the Team beat up a lot of bad teams and beat some good ones too, but we also had some very good luck on a couple of games against good teams, especially against Detroit.! The Joneses will have to be players in at least 2 high level F.A.'s this off season along with retaining at least 4 or 5 of our own F.A.'s... imo
