Congrats on the finish.. I'm gonna have a 2 day classic there in October. Any tips on this lake or anyone who can take me out for a day or two n show me how to run it n fish it a little??

Lance I have only been there twice and it was in the spring both times. My advice that late in the year would be find the shad. They normally start moving back in the bays and creeks around that time of year. Should be some good topwater as well.

That lake is a blast. When we were there there were alot of fry guarders and fish to be caught everywhere but the best pattern we found is fish the bluff walls with tubes and also buzzbait and crankbaits. If you send me your number I can screen shot some map areas that should serve you well.

I'm sitting in a vacation home over looking the Barren River right now. Wishing I had brought the bass boat. Scouting it out for a future trip. Worth coming back to in your opinion? Thanks Rick

I would say yes. Both times I have been there I have caught alot of fish. However in the spring is when I was there. One time was prespawn and the other was during the spawn. Lots of fun. I cant speak for the rest of the season from personal experience. Enjoy your trip.

I would say if you did come during that time you would have a great time. There were a couple fish over 6 caught in our tourney when we were there.
