Barret Jackson and Mecum auto auctions have ruined the old car market. All these guys watching drunk rich guys trying to outbid each other at those things makes everyone think they’re sitting on gold. No, you have a rust buckets and/or poorly modified vehicles. Putting floor shifters in everything while leaving the column shifter in place and robbing foot space of the floor. Lowering C10s and C20s or any full size rig, doing it in the worst way such as cutting springs or chopping frame instead of just buying a car. Leave a truck a truck. That Jeep was a good looking rig. Proper restore. These guys don’t put prices, tell you to make an offer then laugh at your offer that’s comparable to other prices on similar vehicles. Put a price on the thing. $8.5 for the Ghia missing more metal that what’s left. Craigslist and OfferUp you can get good runners that look and run nice. Alright, KZbin and their 60 seconds of unskippable(is that a word) commercials. Time to move along. Looked like a nice day for a walk and see some delusional people.
