My grandfather was a club act and knew Norman Evans well . Norman gave my grandfather special permission to use skits of over the garden wall in his own club act

My mum told a story about dad not sure if it was when he was on leave from the RAF or after ww2 but anyway they went to the cinema and over the garden wall screened. Dad laughed so much that the audience eventually started laughing at him. Mum said it was a bit embarrassing. 😅
