I can't be sure for the UK, but here in Germany it's actually easier to get your hands on fresh than the stuff with the long shelf life. But with "curfew, they refuse to call a curfew" in place supermarkets actually have a chance to fill up their shelves before they get cleaned out.

The trekking stuff is usually meant to be eaten outside, often when on higher altitudes which influences flavour. Hence why it's salty. Same for airplane food by the way.

I know you’ve probably already finished this week on. But a good rule for the outside measuring one is to pinch the bag with your thumb at the mark and while doing that pour the water until the indentation on the fingers on the bag.

You can get koko noodles from any corner shop normally 3 for a pound love them you can get all different flavours to strir fry beef prawn lots of them

I must concur! I went to the store on Saturday for a few essentials...it was basically a melee. The TP is all gone, all of the meat is tagged as no more than 2 per customer, eggs I bought for 99 cents a dozen only a month before are now tagged at nearly 5 dollars a dozen.

Those pasta packages remind me of those fast to make pasta meals I loved to eat in high school when I couldn't cook. But the problems with those is if you don't stir it well, you get raw pasta and/or sauce powder.

Koka and Doll noodles have such a nice flavour compared to many ramen ones, especially the chicken. You can get them in packets as well, I've barely countenanced a Super Noodle since discovering these.

I keep seeing these British "All Day Breakfasts". What does that mean exactly? Are you supposed to eat it in the A.M. and be so full you don't need to eat for the rest of the day? Or does it just mean you can eat it at any time during the day? In which case, wouldn't "Anytime Breakfasts" describe it better? Anyone care to elucidate?

It means you can eat it anytime of the day, it’s normally more used by cafes because outside of that people will just call it a fry up instead most of the time

After living a half year in South East Asia and comming later to UK I can approve that Koka noodles are decent. The ones in plastic bowl are so so. You should better try the bagged ones (can get in home bargains for 27p if I remember right), especialy any stir fry version. With stir fry you just need boil the noodles alone and then get rid off the water and mix em dry on plate with the content of the sachets. Indomie stir fry instant noodles (need to try rendang and mie goreng for sure) are even better. Maybe just an idea for next videos. Take koka from Singapore, Mama from Thailand, Indomie from Indonesia (not Africa, those are quite bland) and nongshim from Korea and so on.
