But no one is pretending that it's not highly addictive, and so many people need to avoid it altogether. Letting alcohol take over your life is a very bad thing. Just like pot. Pot legalization is a widespread reality now. But if it's going to be allowed, it should be treated just like alcohol, socially and legally, and used with realistic caution. It doesn't do any good, especially for it's users, to flat out lie about it's potential for addiction, and about it's other negative side effects. As they say, Max, put that in your pipe and smoke it! :^D

@Emanresuadeen You are completely right about your assertion. I was replying towards the OP. Anything can be addictive, whether it is a drug, food, games, people, etcetera. Marijuana is a psychedelic drug and most people do not seem to realize it. It can indeed take over your life and lead to a psychosis without you realizing it, especially with the stronger THC strains. You either fall more towards the emotional or rational spectrum, which causes a imbalance in your brain, causing this condition. Anyway, people should be aware and careful with everything. Everything with "too" in it will lead to problems. I find people funny when claiming it is not a "drug", not dangerous or without negative effects. They do not understand themselves, how their brain works, how their behaviour/personality changes and what addiction, in it's essence, truly means. As I said to a friend of mine who claimed it never changed him (while he uses it for years) or hasn't got any bad effects. I replied:" It is because you are in fact in a state influenced by cannabis, which often leads to less ambition, depression (strong THC strains), irritation caused by the addiction and so on. Imagine if you never used the substance on a daily basis. Who would you be? Would you enjoy normal life more? Would you be less irritated, how would it effect your social circle? " It indeed clouds people judgement. They make it more positive than it really is, trying to justify the reasons why they do it, reading and believing only the things that fit their narrative. If I could give any advice, it would be: use the balanced strains and if you want benefits, go for the CBD strains. They are not psychoactive and this will decrease the risk for mental problems. Strong THC strains will often lead to a psychosis or even schizophrenia especially if it runs in the family.
