I saw Wilt, in person, make his professional volleyball debut. It was in the summer of 1975 in El Paso, TX. They had a pro league back then. Wilt was an owner of the Southern California team, called the Breakers, I think, and they were playing the El Paso/Juarez Sol. Wilt was great. I also saw Wilt, on TV, pick a coin off of the top of the backboard. It was during a halftime exhibition of a game back in about 1962. I saw Wilt, in person, play a couple of NBA games too. There was an aura around the guy. He also had this mental thing where he wouldn't let anybody be better than him at any athletic discipline. In a perfect world I would have liked to see a prime time Wilt against a prime time Jordan and/or LeBron. I don't think Wilt's ego would let those guys get the best of him. Wilt could jump higher and run faster than those guys. It would have been fun to see.
@Nuvendil6 жыл бұрын
Oh man, Wilt in the trash talk era? Man, that would have been a circus. Very early on in his career people learned that pissing him off or taunting him was the very last thing you wanted to do. And that was half the game for a lot of players in the 80s and 90s xD

Ed Lemberger I liked Wilt’s reply when he was told that a prime Jordan would have gotten the best of a prime Wilt. Wilt said: “Oh. You think so huh.” How much money would you be willing to bet?” Case closed. I would pick Wilt over MJ or LeBron, except in foul shooting. Wilt would have blocked many of their shots, and he would have posted them up down low and used his awesome strength to dominate them underneath. That’s how I see it.

Probably the real league leader in blocks AND steals. Multiple quintuple doubles and quad doubles. Avg multiple triple double seasons if you counted blks. Likely lead the league in all 5 stats at one point or another. Resume is missing something along the lines of 2 fmvp, 5 dpoty, 6 def 1st teams, 6 blks titles, 3 stls titles which he would've likely won had they been around. When he retired he was likely the league leader in 4 out of 5 stats. In my opinion he's the best athlete humanity has produced. And if you believe the rumors he's likely responsable for at least 1,000 babies which likely became olympians lol

Technically...he wasn't human. Essentially, he was a super soldier but instead focused his energy on athletics. Also, he was born and raised to be the person he turned out to be. The powers of the world figured out genetic mutation LONG before the 20th Century...and Wilt is a perfect example of that. They created an athletic super soldier to pull in a crowd...which, in turn. produced A LOT of money for the controllers to continue their agenda and pay Wilt handsomely with money, luxury, and women.
@FFVIIFAN7 жыл бұрын
Side note; Mike is a puppet for the modern-day controllers. His job is to put out content like this, explaining away any prominent time or person in this rigged world. In this, he says "not human" countless times, in such a way that it totally discredits that specific detail. Other examples are his rigged NBA videos. He talks about rigging as though it is very possible, even probable. The problem with this is, he always explains away the story and/or points blame at someone who is no longer affiliated. But the truth is, all professional sports are rigged, and not only are the commissioners, refs and coaches in on it....but so are the most famous players, as well as players who never make it to the top cuz their job is to perform poorly against said famous players. It's a group effort to ensure the illusion of competition to keep the fans coming back and paying even more next season. Lastly.....Michael Jordan was the best....Mike makes this very clear. But he also talks about MJ's flaws and problems throughout his career, like the first retirement/suspension. The truth is, MJ is one of the biggest POS to walk in the limelight...and they make you not realize to what extent by distracting you with the relatively harmless stuff MJ has done in the public eye, In a nutshell...all sports, from D1 and beyond, are controlled, performed and justified by some of the biggest liars on earth.

Off the subject a bit, but when I was a line cook at a gambling boat Kareem came in to eat. He walked right up to the line and said " I need one of those hats" Our restaurant was named Legends and we wore those hats that have the button fronts, like the Puma style but we wore them backwards and they were black and said Legends on the front in white. We literally didn't have an extra hat because you had to get them from wardrobe (another department) but was I gonna tell him No? Heck No! So I would like to think every now and then he is out there wearing my hat. He also threw me a 100 to get a new one. Class act guy. He wore it around the rest of his stay. Anyways that's my story. I have a Charles Barkley story and a Winston Bennett story too, maybe I will save those for another time 😉

heheh yep and Jabar was in the league then and at least 2 of them was on him, and the unlockable skyhook, that just lets you know that a man with an unstoppable shot has to adjust due to Wilt, just like the league, the court and over all rules on free-throws. Remember when they had to change the rules for Shaq. OOH OOH me either, except hanging off the rim to break it. He blocked the sky hook several times with ease When Kareem first came in the league and Wilt was old. Kareem started shooting it a lot higher in the air with a lot more arc, and he perfected the shot so that Wilt couldn't block it as easily and nobody else could except Artis a couple times, or if Kareem put it up weakly. Wilt scared him into shooting the hook even higher in the air to get it over OLD Wilt. If Kareem played against YOUNG Wilt, it would have been no contest.

What I was thinking: Slot Wilt into the 2002 draft. He'd be taken 1st overall, and since Yao wasn't going to move to the US if he weren't selected first, he would be taken 2nd the next year (after LeBron), while Darko would be removed from the league. Otherwise, you could remove Jay Williams, who only played one season before a career-ending motorcycle accident, and give Mike Dunleavy to the Bulls. That would put Wilt on the Warriors, just like in real life. This would alter the current NBA a lot, as the Warriors would probably not get Steph or Klay. The Wilt vs. Russell rivalry would be replaced by Wilt vs. Shaq. Just like in real life, Wilt is by far the more talented player (although Shaq was a freakish athlete in his own right) and would put up the better stats, but Shaq would win more championships with the Lakers. Speaking of that, would Wilt stay in the Bay Area or sign in a bigger market? Please do this, Mike. I'll love you for it. (I already do, but I'll love you even more)

He also had a phobia for offensive fouls which were more frowned upon in his era. We used to celebrate Shaq's ability to lower his shoulder and dunk on guys. If Shaq lowered his shoulder on Wilt it wouldn't end well. Lower body fat, more stamina and literally stronger than Shaq. He also had the abilty to get up very quickly for the second jump ala Dennis Rodman and now Zion Williamson.
