He was unproven and got dealt a bad deck of cards under Covid with a rotten culture inside and player power. Mourinho walks in an already mashed job for him and delivers silverware with a rigid style and plenty of funds. Arteta will leave a legacy in football! Arteta and Mourinho need different types of players. Jose could manage Ozil and Auba. Could personalities such as Saka, Odegaard develop so much under him. Moreover, Mourinho never stayed more than 3 years in one club. So his effectiveness drops after 2-3 years. He is more like a sprinter - gets result in a short term. Arteta is doing a marathon - creating a long term success

No, he should be doing as he has because Arteta has the emotional intelligence to relate to players from his previous experience as one. His speeches evoke emotion, spirit, life and strength within our players. It's more than just football, but also a life's lessons. This is how the team has improved because now they share that belief that they can go on to do great things. Even if we fall short this season, I have full belief this group of players are destined to major win trophies for the next few years at least
