This is the one I know a lot of you have been waiting for. Permanent Holiday is the tune that most people were introduced to my music by. While many bands get sick of the song that is their fans favorite because they feel like they always have to play it, no matter what, this is still one of my favorite songs to play, night after night. More than ever I’m missing the feeling of excitement when I drop that first identifiable beatbox hit. Exemplified here, is a song’s ability to expand, morph and take on new meaning, all the while staying true to the original message and groove. Every time we play each one of these songs, something different happens, and we grab on to these magical moments and expand on them. That’s the mark of a band that’s truly moving as one. My all time favorite song! I played this song over and over on loop the day I quit the corporate world over 5 years ago. It’s been a permanent holiday ever since, with a little poverty mixed in, but it’s been worth the ride. I think like a lot of people the first time you blew my mind was with this song, mustve been 2015-2016 opening for Groundation.
