I was fortunate to see this revival. Having seen the original with the orignal cast back in `75, I was skeptical that this would be any good without Fosse himself staging it, but Reinking managed to do the near impossible of making a lot of changes to make it her own while being true to Fosse. Also, Reinking was perfect for the role - I loved her throaty voice, very similar to Verdon's when she did it. Terrific show and deservedly still running on Broadway!

Honestly wish they kept the period in the show because it gives the show’s satire a bite. At the same time, I love that they tried to keep it timeless . I am seeing a production tomorrow that is using the revival staging so i am both excited and nervous . Side note: this is my fav song in the show.

love Chicago and i've seen it twice in cape town, south africa, let me tell you it's far better then this... it was more sensual, sexy, had energy it was CHICAGO... sorry this is not the best chicago
