Yeah speaking of going to the bathroom out there , i was elk hunting in Montana a few years ago west of your location a few hundred miles while walking the boarder fence i needed to take a leak so i did only to look up while doing so to see a nice fancy video camera about 20 ft. Up in a big pine tree , so i waved what the heck , 👍

Once upon a time ('70s) I worked for the Watcom Co Rd Dept. Part of our responsibility was to dig out the ditch on Boundary Rd which was the border between US & Canada. I would often jump back and forth over the ditch, helping the operator with the grade. The thing was that I was actually jumping over the border. The Border Patrol wasted a lot of time watching road workers simply doing their job.

Back when me an my granddad was both kids we used to seed an area like that by hand, then go in for breakfast, pack a lunch, then head off to work for the day. It snowed so much we had to start shovelling the snow a month before it started falling. Boots? Naw, we just wrapped barbed wire around our feet so we would have some traction in the ice and snow. You kids have it so easy these days.
