@@flatheadV8whatever do you mean? They're in every construction site you go by, Cat (JLG), genie and so on. In livestock operations a tractor just works better, you need one less machine instead of both. Merlo and Widemann aren't that reliable in my personal experience and getting parts is the worst part

If compaction is an issue, you can downsize the graincart to a 2-3 harvester tank size instead of driving around with a 2500 bu cart🤷 a full 2598 is basicly atleast two truckloads afaik..

Great Video Mike! I surely hope u paid a visit at New Holland aswell, just to check out the CR11, cause you'd be the actual first guy on KZbin who could compare both of them in person. I'm really curious if Case changed anything at their Rotor design or the inlets (or whatever call them) compared to the New Holland CR11, cause if they didn't the only differences these combines have are probably the cabin + software, colour and pricetag.

Ive been watchin a lot of New Holland CR11 (basically AF11) content and from what they say the losses are incredibly low and the efficiency is good. Also I think a 18 meter header is really big. And I think all those sensors for f.e. oil in canola and so on are kinda funny. That beeing said, Im kinda more a Case/New Holland fan. Which is not to say I hate Deere but Im not as big of a Deere Fan as CNH and as you say they all have pros and cons. Also Im not a real farmer, just very interested and trying to get into farming on the hobby side of things.
@KALI10802 ай бұрын
I’m kinda in the same boat as you but I have been a technician for New Holland and currently am a John Deere tech. I’ll say the John Deere tech is unbeatable but I like CNH (FPT) engines better than Deere.

Been watching a ton of footage aswell, I think this is probably the best Combine on the market out there atm. Why? Cause of the chopper design, the chopper spins the opposite direction which they usually do and instead of slowing the flow down for a split second, cutting it and then accelerating it again, it's just one fluid motion and I could almost bet on it that this combine will not plug up even in the most green Lentils/whatever someone could harvest just due to the chopper design, the people in the netherlands who engineered that piece of machine are some really clever peeps! I actually think this could be the perfect combine for Mike as long as he gets a good price for it, all new combines are really good at keeping losses very low.. but the chopping/spreading quality is always different, this machine just has it all.

The grain handling equipment that gets used between the combine and the truck (carts and mobile storage) is insane these days. I get how Super Bs can't be driven very far in fields and you never want the combines to stop but the capital expense of grain carts and mobile storage is outrageous and the fuel that grain carts use constantly chasing around the field is crazy. Plus the hours being put on the tractors.

Hi Mike, your video starts showing how badly fabricated that Hopper is: Galvanized grating showing that they were stick welded poorly, rusting already. Normally grid ore grating would be welded first and then the corrosion protection in any form would follow as the next step. Piece of junk, no german AG manufacturer would even dare to present something like this
