Crazy. I can remember the day when you bought a new piece of equipment, and if you maintained it, it would give you 10000-15000 trouble free hours. Then you would trade it for another new machine. Product Improvements? This scht should be sorted out before they even start sending machines down the assembly line. I just added another tractor to our fleet built in ‘91. It will most definitely give us less troubles than anything new.

Same here on the cameras. My '22 S770 Hillco came with B.O. cameras. Dealer gave me the option of refund my money for the option, and when they came in, pay the new price to get installed,,,or simply run the '22 crop, and when they come in they would install no charge (which I did)... They installed them last week! Got the gas charged springs loaded ladder that only half raises up. Told the service guy he needed to add more gas in the springs.. Still waiting for a fix on that. @@andrewscott5986 oh I didn't know that, very interesting thankyou!
@KALI1080 Жыл бұрын
@@andrewscott5986the change in oil viscosity is due to early 13.6L engines having timing gear train backlash set too tight at the factory. Temporary fix is to change to thinner oil and advise operators to fully warm up engine before going full load. There is going to be a PIP to adjust the backlash but the timing gears are on the back of the engine so it is an engine out job. The head being starved of oil is unlikely. They use a hydraulic lash adjuster on the 13.6l now and some of the lash adjusters are failing and causing a ticking valve train.
@KALI1080 Жыл бұрын
That’s likely due to the engine timing geartrain backlash being too tight. There is going to be a PIP to set the geartrain backlash properly. Geartrain on these engines is at the rear of the engine on these so the engine needs to come out for that job.
