Think you right Rich...I don't even own a pair of those og bred 1s but that patten leather definitely ain't gonna age well...can't stand the way the creases look on a patten leather 1.....I'll take crease on a leather 1 all day over these. Patten leather could have been done partially on these 1s leave the toe box area in leather and if they wanted to do the back heal end with the Nike swoosh in patten leather I think would have been a more wearable shoe.
