i love that the SF is so into plant medicines as a healing therapy for all the shit they've gone through. I've watched and listened to so many and have NEVER heard a negative experience and NEVER heard of coming away from it without being a better human being. I personally practice psilocybin microdosing, very very small amount of golden teacher mushrooms that I grow at home. I'm not a war veteran but I've had a shitload of drug issues when i was younger with multiple arrests and lots of family issues to this day. My entire life changed the day I did LSD for the first time (a bit too much tbh) and i was confronted with the harsh reality i was living. I cried intensely for my mother's suffering of what her child was going through and what it was doing to my family. It shocked my entire being back into formation and I graduated with honors from engineering school. I got my life back on track. Somehow I forgot the pain of others due to your own actions along the journey of life. Now I microdose psilocybin muchrooms 3 times a week I also take 1 gram of lions mane mushrooms (edible mushrooms that dont get you high but have neurogenesis properties) every morning first thing when i wake up and have been doing so for 4 years. It doesn't get rid of it, but it give you the tools and perspective to deal with it in YOUR way. It's the best life coach on earth. twice a year I do a big dose of mushrooms to feel that pain again, and the physical discomfort of throwing yourself off the deep end and working your way out of there. I don't drink anymore, smoke anymore, or do "drugs". As a software engineer, my career has sky rocketed. People trust and rely on me every day and what I do is so important for anyone that has health insurance. My mind is right now. Before I suffered.

I agree with him when said "military became less about service more about policy". I was a medic in Canadian Army for 13 years, during my last few years of service the chain of command lower the standards. Soldiers can grow beards, pt standards become none existence, drill instructor cannot yell at soldiers, it was part of boot camp graduation to ruck march with all your kit for 12km, now they got rid of that because it hurts people's feelings. And now they wanted to change the uniform to be more "inclusive". Many Afghan and Iraqi war veterans left the army, they could not put up with constant bs soft new military.

Post retirement took a one-year contract in Afghanistan to train U.S. soldiers to sniff out mines. With no disrespect to you or your comrades but most likely he was one of the best in the country in his field. In synopsis three years post state side he was diagnosed with (this guy was a fitness nut) terminal lung cancer. With all due respect to those who served, as my father's best friend once stated the first thing, he was taught in the military was, it doesn't take a bullet to take a soldier out. Blessings.

I’m not asking for an infantile ‘who’s the best’ ranking. Not all comparison is negative. You need to quit the projection. Jeff was about to go on a really interesting tangent about what he thought the operational differences were at 1:37:45. However, Mike then cuts him off by asking a frankly childish question about who would Jeff call upon if he himself was in a hostage rescue situation where he needed saving. Mike’s the only person here that made it about ‘how good they are’. I’m not interested in a dick measuring competition.
