The card slot is best for cards for access controlled parking facilities or toll road slips if you don't have the transponder.

On the steering wheel, the button that hangs up a phone call will also mute the radio. Makes it very handy when pulling up to a drive thru order speaker.

My uncle has one the same configuration, a 2014 Silverado 1500 Z71 4X4 5.3L LT but Crew Cab and Short Bed... same color combo... no Bose (albeit an awesome stereo) and no nav. It changed my views of Chevy (and GM) Trucks! (:

thank you for the review. and as for the card holder thing t is always recommended not to put your Debit card there, but where I come from the driver license and Car registration can fit in this compartment which I would think it is reasonable to use. so if a policeman stopped you you don't need to do a lot of monuvers trying to reach for your wallet to get the cards from. you can just pick them up right away from that compartment

yes, you can tell by the stance. the 2WD version sits lower to the ground, or atleast the same height as the easy step in that you get with a crossover. the 4WD sits up a bit taller, and most of the time they come as ext cab or crew cab.

No. No drive select switch next to headlight knob which four wheel drive LTs have. "Stance" has nothing to do with drive train.
