Update! I tried the launch control of the 7 speed DCT on the Taos it works like charm, can't belive they advertise this vehicles as a 8.4 second 0-60 when in reality it can do 6.9 secons using regulat 87 gas when using launch

This car is nice! The only thing I personally would change is the folding rear seats! The fact that when they fold, they are above the trunk is a pet peeve. It isn't realistic, but it would by cool if the seats stowed in the trunk like the Odyssey. Other than that, this car is AMAZING! Also, think about it; this car has total of 18.25 inches of screen!

Another great, thorough video Mike! But I mean OUCH...not even a 2-liter 4-banger? A 1.5? For a car enthusiast, it's been a little tough to get behind VW for the last few years IMHO, for the absence of a V6 option on almost ANY of their products. The 4-banger works great on a Golf R, but its not something that you'd ever want to limit the customer to on the other models IMHO. But again, incredible thorough review!

When Android Auto is selected it shows your cell phone status, charging from wireless, and status. But when charging wirelessly, it seems like it more keeps what you have and really never fully charges the cell phone, at least in my case.

The car is cute but it has a lot of problems. I bought one on 7/22/2023 and broke twice in less in 20 days ! Left it at the dealer and bought a brand new RAV4.

So this Taos SEL doesn't have ventilated front seats? I thought it was standard on all SEL's. Did they change that shortly after release or something? Enjoy how throughly you go through the vehicle BTW. Just bought a white SEL, just waiting on it to be delivered from the port. The anticipation is killing me, so this video helps :-)

You have to choose 4Motion to get the ventilated seats on the SEL.

The SEL does come standard with ventilated front seats, however in colder climates, dealers order them with the feature removed, takes $400 off the price. This is how mine was when purchased in the Seattle area. You would use them like 1 day a year, LOL!!! I believe these videos are somewhere in Canada, therefore, the dealers probably order with the feature removed as well.

I think they should move the backup camera to just under the spoiler at the top of the rear hatch. I think that might provide a better view while backing up.
