They advertised the 2015 grand caravan SXT (which I purchased) with being 21mpg city and 30mpg highway. I actually got 34mpg doing average highway speeds which is amazing but gas mileage (city) suffered a little bit, being around 19-20 mpg city with Eco-mode on. Mind you it's much better on fuel than my 2006 Chevy equinox.

THANKS for the video. You helped me decide on getting this van. I pretty much got the same van as you and I really like it. I didn't get the GPS radio because I don't like touch screen radios in my cars and I got the basic dashboard display. The ONLY thing I wish i would have gotten was a compass, but that would have meant getting the upgraded dashboard display, which i didn't really want and I just started using WAZE which works great. I wanted the regular center console for the added room up front and because it's removable. Sometimes I have to slide out on the passenger when others part too close to the drivers side door. plus I like the openness. As far as the 3rd row, I am 6' 9' so my seat goes all the way back. I am comfortable but not much room in the third row drivers side. I didn't get power seats because I am the only one that will be driving and again, I am more of a fan of the simpler seats and I will never be moving them anyway. Aside from from that I love it. LOVE the Stow-N-Go. Love how the 2nd row seats can be used as storage in the floor when the seats are up. All around I really enjoy this van. My first Dodge/Chrysler.

I had a 2014 american value package with a 1 piece 2nd row bench with just enough room for children to squeeze by for the back row seats. It wouldn't stow n go because it hit the middle floor brace. It didn't come with a spare 😩 Very easy to change out the oil filter just under the hood for the diy experts. I'm looking at 1 in a few and wanted to see if had electric side window unlike the one I had. The back vent weren't electric either. They are very fast for a van and they'll get over 34mpg highway like I read on another comment. Much appreciated video. 👍

Own a 12 Town & Country Touring-L, as well as a 17 Grand Caravan GT......only thing missing to make these minivans complete is #AllWheelDrive! In year's past, I've owned a 94 Town & Country & 2 Grand Caravan. One was a 97 SE & the other an 02 ES, all three had #AWD! Being the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica now offers AWD, that's my next purchase when time comes! 💯

+Some Random Guy Not in a Caravan... you can get a RAM C/V tradesman (2015 or older) work van without the seats. All the Caravan's have Stow N Go seats and they are not removable.

+Some Random Guy The AVP package is the cheaper version. And yes the second row seat is actually a bench seat that can be removed. The third row is always stow and go no matter what package you get. I just got the AVP version of this and YES, it is about $3k to $4k cheaper. I actually like it better then this upgraded package because you can get to the third row seats way easier. This version he is showing you in the video is about $24k to $25k. The package you are talking about (AVP) is about $20k OUT THE DOOR if you work them and not in a hurry to get one. So to answer your question: YES. [AVP = American Value Package] Ask to see that one. Hope this helps.

If "minivans" are so huge and have so much utility, why don't we refer to them Multi Utility Vehicles (MUV) or Multi Purpose Vehicle (MPV)? The term "minivan" is incredibly emasculating name and does a severe disservice to these vehicles. That name contributes so much to the "soccer mom" image, so if we were to refer to them as MUV from on, the image might fade with time. I still have a soft spot for MUVs, and would hate to see them become extinct due to them being fazed out in favor of full size SUVs and crossovers, so is there anyway these vehicles could be designed/transformed in order for more carries to create their own, and to cater to a wider range of consumers? In fact, with the way MUVs are designed (small, sloping front end and long, box like frame), is it even possible to create an attractive MUV?
