Like I can draw a pretty or handsome face but they always look the same, they're never very unique and if i try to draw a different face it will look like a completely different style that doesnt fit with the previous one and I I try to draw a different face but that fits the previous style it will just look bad. as an architecture student, I had to take drawing classes - which taught me the value of proper shading. as in: using the proper technique when applying pressure and making a gradient with clean, parallel lines. do clean lines. do not smudge those lines. it always makes your drawing look grubby because you have so little control over it. look at shading as texturing - texture gives your drawing depth, smudging it flattens your image. my drawing prof at uni would explain it much better, he does wonderful drawn texture.. but yeah, drawing super fine parallel lines (sometimes cross hatched lines) for texture/shading is an awesome skill that also requires a little practice, but adds much more finess than smudging. that being said, good on you for sticking with it and proving that you can express yourself well through drawing! :)

I am definitely very proud of you for these like for real this is insane for your skill level, though it's kind of funny how the more experienced you get at drawings you start taking more time for the things that used to take the less time, like when I was starting drawing, my drawing process was exactly the same but when I drew and eye after getting a lot more experience I spent two and a half hours on the iris while the skin was pretty quick to do
@gamervictor26412 жыл бұрын
This is so touching. You have inspired me for one thing. NEVER GIVE UP! For the ones that want to draw as a hobby. You don't need people trying to put you down. Do the thing you want to do. And if you are not passionate about drawing and taking your time. It can be that you will not become any better at the hobby you like to do. And if you quit it might as well be that you have given up on the hobby or thing to do. And if you come back and set it as a hobby again, you may become an inspirational drawing master. And if you don't come back to drawing or the hobby you like to do you might as well call drawing a failure of the hobby you like.

Well, just to clarify.. yes, he did start learning the process on how to draw and achieved a great deal, but to become a expert artist it requires much more than 7 days of practice and mental-buildup. Any person can follow instructions and measurements, but there's a sense of fluidity and flow when you wish to create a piece that really stands out. Art is a process that can be transformed over and over again infinitely. You must learn the rules before you can begin to break them, so I give major props for him to achieve this much after 7 days. I hope he kept drawing after this, its impressive.

yes, I know you don’t need to do it perfectly. I was thinking more about people that practice something without knowing how to do it properly. I mean, get a teacher, learn the basic theory, etc. Instead of “keep doing what you’re doing now until it comes out right” Obviously, a lot of practice is essential, but it won’t benefit you if you’re repeating it the wrong way

@lucse3994 Жыл бұрын
I had the same issue, but what helped me a lot was buying a small sketchbook and only ever drawing with black fineliners/pens. Stop using a pencil. When you can no longer erase lines you'll start iterative drawing (drawing the same thing 20 times in a row, quick and dirty) and you won't care about mistakes so much. Maybe it'll help you out too :)
@bbew2914 Жыл бұрын
I love pen drawing, even tho mistakes are jarring, you can make something up to hide it lol
@boujee123452 жыл бұрын
Me too! I used to draw eyes like one line, a circle in between, another line, then connect. Now I take like 5 mins to draw a hyper realistic eye! And on the vanishing one, I did this a while ago, but the point is the vanishing point if you didn't catch that. Your lines need to be symmetrical/perpendicular touching the lines in the middle, depending on your shape.
