I'm so happy you're focusing on being firm and using the angry face. Current school system wants you to be lenient, they're diverting gentle teaching towards powerless teaching where kids end up taking control, you can't let that happen
@SAMBUT Жыл бұрын
working in something that doesn't even appear the worst school (in the UK) and sadly still quater the colleagues' foremost technique of behaviour management is using a raised voice trying to manage things from distance, which is obviously disastrous and harmful for the kids' psyche as well as performance

Hello, I am a teacher in France with children from 9 to 10 years old. I have 5 students who insult, fight and nothing change. The behavioral systems of dojo style do not work. They do not work any more. In addition it makes me tired of always putting points as if I gave a dog some sugars when he did a few things well. I want the insults and the fights to stop. I tried the meditation except that the 5 difficult students scream, sing, .... Do you have any ideas ?

Hello. I am an English teacher. I work in a public primary school in Ecuador ( I am Ecuadorian). I need help because my students are too unruly. I work with 2nd and 3rd grade . There are about 30 students in each class. There are no resources in the school. The book we use is not good. What activities and strategies can I use? . I have used activities I have found on the internet. I use songs. But it is not enough. My students need more activities that engage them in the classroom. Please. Would you be so kind to help me with some advice and ideas. Thank you in advance
@MikesHomeESL5 жыл бұрын
Hi Fernanda! Mucho gusto conocer te! Me hermanito esta viviendo en Ecuador Quito! De donde vives? I've been in Ecuador in 1998 and getting ready to go there in 2 years perhaps! I'd love to help you with your class but I'm not in your shoes. Whem something is going wrong in your class, first ask about yourself, if you're teaching the right way! Find what they like mmost {way of teaching}. Use more TPR control kids by rewarding. Let them know that if they don't study well at the beginning of the class they won't play games....
@mariafernandamayorga23305 жыл бұрын
@@MikesHomeESL Thank you for your reply. I try my best but its very hard . I use songs, worksheets, , flashcards, drawings. I used to give them prizes but they do not appreciate it. They do not behave well . Sometimes they are more willing to learn but in general they are unruly. They know that they will pass the course. even if they do not study. our educational system is like this. Teachers are obliged to give them good grades. This is why we are not respected.
