@@MikesManCave not everybody is a hater, Mike. We all have different tastes in food, as to what we like, and prefer. So we rate on our own experience, just as you did. I ate spanians kebabs and gave it 3 out of 5. I found the bread too thick and chewy, and the lack of a proper chilli sauce, hummus, garlic/tzatziki, and not being able to add cheese, or change salad ingredients, unappealing to me. I also detest vinegar on anything but a salad dressing. So, having vinegar flavours on my chips, absolutely ruined it for me. Mate, plain salt or chicken salt would of been just fine. I believe the lack of being able to change the ingredients to one's liking, is a major contributor to his low google rating. Also, I found the meat to be your standard type of kebab meat, nothing special.

That's Sydney, of course people are going to review "on the low" as Spanian are serving the real Kebabs as the rest of the world does. So Sydney get that!!! you have been always eating something called Kebab that it is everything but. Thank God Spanian are brining you the real thing and you of course are getting a shock!! Respect! this man is trying to do the right thing. Same with paella, you will never eat a paella in Australia. just rice with things.

Besides the point, I wish spanios much success (he does alot more good than he's done bad) plus he's a character and a half with an inspiring story! I'm actually greek background and kebabs around here in Melbourne are no challenge for alot of the good quality local souvlakia about, but (due to my upbringing in food industry since before I could talk) I know he's kebabs are gonna be good (I could easily re create them but it defeats the purpose of going out (with friends) and having a yarn with a laugh while eating a meal around spanios's food truck true? Hope you had a good weekend my friend? Keep up the good work, Ragman

Yeah he only moved within Sydney, fuel cost would be negligible, start moving up the east coast, and do a week in major towns, Newcastle, Forster, Taree, Port Macquarie, Kempsey, Coffs Harbour etc etc. honestly I would literally do it for him, I have a truck license and happy to travel. Problem would be finding staff willing to do it.

I’m from England and a kebab here is served in a pitta bread not no roll or like you Aussies have it which is basically a tortilla wrap I could make better than that at home it may taste good or bad but it’s not a kebab 💯
@MikesManCave4 ай бұрын
Kebab means meat cooked on a stick, what you put your kebab on is not really relevant to it being a kebab, people in Australia especially those with little exposure to other parts of the world believe a kebab is meat and salad, cheese wrapped in a flat bread, there are shops at every street corner selling this here. Personally I have seen kebab on top of hot chips (they call them snack packs here) on top of salad (keto snack pack), eaten on its own, in various wraps by itself or with salad, on Turkish bread, pitta bread even in tortilla style pockets and probably other ways I have forgotten. I like this place because it tasted amazing and is different to the other 2000 shops selling copy cat ‘kebabs’. We don’t really need 2001 shops selling the exact same thing, but a large portion of Australian’s have difficulty dealing with that as it destroys their whole existence🤣🤣🤣 plus they hate it even more as it’s owned by a KZbinr who was a drug addict and petty criminal but now makes millions travelling around the world making KZbin videos now. 😆😆

Like i dont go to get food to argue with the person making it about what goes on it at their place of business. Give me your original recipe, thats why i came to get your food. If there is no original recipe then lets be honest its just subway. Which is fine, like i get the appeal of being able to supplement or target specific macros at places like subway or chipotle by building the sandwich or the burrito or whatever. But if im just trying to get a philly cheese steak or a burger i cant be fucked, i just want whatever comes on the cunt because im enjoying myself, its not gonna ever ruin my day if i taste a vegetable or a mushroom or some special sauce.
