The decorations and art at a lot of restaurants are gorgeous and the people who serve at many restaurants treat everyone like royalty regardless of where your from. I absolutely LOVED living in Kuwait. The Kuwaitis for the most part are nice. One thing I noticed is how the women carry themselves. The women are really pretty.
@ahmedmosadalameldin31355 жыл бұрын
One thing that would intensively raise the videos quality: Try to establish a long mono-oriented conversation each time, like open one subject, and carry on with it, instead of asking a burst of different shattered questions. I get the feeling that you talk for the sake of talking and opening conversations, and that's great, but this way you get repetitive awkward silence moments and short boring conversations. (you would achieve the goal even better if you stuck to one subject each time).

@@gotnoname7051 I live in Kuwait and I know how kuwaiti people are, if you start with maybe you are not even sure about what you think. I am not saying UAE or Oman are not good. The most negative comments toward kuwaitis are that they rich and they don't work and they don't know anything. Jealousy is the main thing that cause hate and racism. Been working here in kuwait and Kuwaitis are very nice people.. They are generous, friendly, and patient.. I love the unique culture they have like when it comes to paying, all in the group are insisting to be the one who pay the bill..!

Thank you so much for the effort and for this video. Kuwait is a rich country, a fact that everyone knows. Being a Kuwaiti has a lot of advantages such as the free education + financial aid when you’re studying in the university ( Kuwait university allows you to choose the professor you want to study the subject with) . When you graduate, you apply for a financial aid and you will have it until you find a job. Free access to hospital + free medicine. Kuwait is not a country for tourism because you will only find malls and restaurants. As a Kuwaiti (in my point of view), I admit that Kuwaiti’s are spoiled, and i don’t like that, because when everything is in a golden plate, minds get empty. If only we be like other countries who work hard to gain money instead of having it easily. I'm thankful to all what god gave us, but still i hate when people look at Kuwaiti and be like: oh shut up you live an easy life.

I agree with everything you said except the last part, we’re never given the chance really to prove potential! Look at our athletes they participate in the name of kuwait in international competitions and win medals only to return home to find out they’re being punished for taking a sick leave (because we don’t have any other way to take few days off for such reasons) and no one is sponsoring them or rewarding them, we have a corrupted system and everybody knows it, that’s why everything works only by wasta which is why you don’t see people having there chances because we don’t put the right people in the right place, as you said we are rich country and we’re only a million and half at-most! a person should have more than what we make today! We’re deprived from basic rights like completing your education a lot of work places will not give you a sabbatical and if you do go to school after work hours your degree will not be accepted and you can’t do anything with it! If you think we are privileged think again (considering our population and income) as a country this rich with so little people we should be privileged and we don’t have to prove anything to anyone and definitely not by working in positions that normally one wouldn’t aspire to, some kuwaitis today are trying to work in two jobs and can’t because the government wouldn’t allow it however it’s allowed for non kuwaitis! we opened our eyes in a community that has such high living standard and we began to realize that we cannot afford it anymore, people are just trying to live the best they can while they can..

It's often not easy to say what exactly is good about Kuwait since it doesn't have something in particular that makes it good but it's the collective small things that make it great to live in like the easy life, free healthcare, free education, rich opportunities, the safety and strong community feeling.

Ppl were nervous in the video and forgot to mention so many things. No taxes in Kuwait, health care and education is free. It’s so safe. Kuwaiti dinars are the highest currency value in the world. Kuwaiti university students get allowance from the country, also thousands are sent abroad for higher international universities. Also the country can send you abroad for difficult medical conditions. Sea activities are fun, it’s mostly hot all year around, and the entire country lies on a long coastline on gulf sea. In the hot weather swimming, chalet-ing, fishing, tanning, jet skiing, boat cruises, or traveling abroad. PS. You can rent a chalet you don’t need to own one. Also ppl can go to sea side resorts for a day pass. Winter times, amazing weather, more times spent outdoors, gardens, parks, sea side, dessert camps, BBQ -ing, bicycling.. Etc We are known for our great restaurants, so you will find so many awesome places to eat at. We are known for our shopping malls too. Some places to visit other than malls and restaurants, Souq Mubarakiya, Kuwait towers, al shaheed park, JACC for music events, scientific center, Abdulla Al Salem cultural center. Ppl are friendly and so generous yet they can be viewed as conservative. For foreigners, get your alcohol from your embassy.
