Great video, thanks Mike. This week I purchased a set waterproof speakers, to test them, I threw them into the pool but they got damaged. So I had to send them back to the on-line store for a replacement but they denied my request saying, "It's not our fault the pool was empty".

chap was selling a really nice pioneer speaker for just £1 He said the volume was stuck at full volume permanently. But what a deal! How could I turn that down?

Yes they are similar in that respect, although I would be hard pressed to decide which one was the better quality

You always see Trust products in some supermarkets but never had any of them. Saw these on Amazon for a tenner and was tempted but already have another set which cost about the same and do a decent job. For £10 these would be a decent choice for basic sound needs especially for laptops. Thanks for the video, Mike and Kath :-)

I recently bought 2x300W Fenton Speakers for the PC. They are EXCELLENT. The build quality is great and the sound quality is also great. I like to enjoy music and gaming at a level that is completely immersive. These Speakers were priced at £120, they are definitely worth every penny if sound quality is your goal. The way they work is there's a built in Amp in one of them and the other is a Slave Unit. There's a slight Hum but it's not noticeable when gaming, watching films, or playing music. They were worth the investment and will last many years at the same quality as when I first powered them up. I'm not a fan of Cheap speakers due to their usual "Tinny" sound output.

For a tenner they are not that bad, When I seen your link on discord was gutted to see that they went back up in price. Not sure id pay more that a tenner for them considering what you can get for around £20 (aka better RMS speakers) Thanks for the video

After watching your review of the Creative T10 speakers a while back, i picked those up on eBay for £10 , very happy with them, they slaughter my Logitech Z200's for sound quality and bass, the Logitechs are now in a drawer :D I can see those Trust speakers being ok for a budget system, i think their older stuff was much better, eg Trust Active 75's from the 90s were excellent.( a number of companies made them like Trust, Goodmans, Tiny etc )

You shouldn't use your laptop to power it but use a power brick from one of your past phones/tablets. Most laptop USB ports only pushes out 5V @ 500ma, or 5v * 0.5A = 2.5 watts. Most phone/tablet bricks are usually 1A-2.4A which means 5-12 watts of power which will yield much better performance.

only issue is with trust and canyon they are working till have warranty, 1-2 month after warranty expires are dead :D
