If this doesn't work, try this method that I discovered by accident. Connect power cable and immediately after the logo appears, connect a USB cable to a PC that's turned on. By doing so, it booted but the apps were unaccessible. What I did was, went to Settings and Reset and now it works perfect. I think some files of the OS were damaged or something. Hope this helps. PS: when I tried to push that button (method explained in this video) , it didn't show the logo, nothing.

I just bought a new TX6. Set it up, worked fine. Used remote to power off and now it won’t come back on. Tried unplugging everything but no lights no display nothing at all. I have an ABOX 1A plus that I picked up at a yard sale and it was working fine until just the other day when if would start up as usual but then sticks and cannot move to anything to open any apps. it does have a button on the bottom but I tried this trick and still the same. Should I give it up?

I have a 20mbps fibre connection and my TX3 mini has 1GB available RAM (1GB in use), but it still stops and starts quite badly. Any ideas? worth a try, heat might be an issue, and also this is a quite low power box so sometimes it will struggle at higher resolutions

Hello Mike. I have a Tanix TX6 box with a strange problem, I wonder if you've com across before. It works well on starting. The menu screen is fine with full width picture. As soon as I go to ANY app, there is a greyish bar down the right hand side. It is actually blanking off that part of the picture (picture not shifted etc.). Have you seen this before? Will rebooting back to factory reset cure this? Thanks Brian (Thailand).

I called the people from the app I use for UK TV streaming and they offered to fix it for free if I sent the box to them. It came back next day fine. Then same again a few months later. That time it reverted after a few days. The guys at TeatimeTV seem reluctant to tell me what they do. Could it be the Android version?

Hi Mike, I have two of these TX3 Mini's and they have constant freezing. I've tried multiple firmware's and I've tried increasing airflow and even pulled the board out of the box so keep it from freezing if it were the result of overheating. Any suggestions or have you come across this as well as a way to fix? Thanks in advance

I found mine work much better wired rather than on WIfi. It is like the extra processing overheats it or something. IF you are using wifi make sure you have a really good signal or it will lock up regularly

I would’ve agreed with this if it wasn’t for the fact that we had the problem with our TX3 Pro rebooting first when it was attached directly and still have the problem since we moved the tv and box to new location with WiFi only. The only thing that worked for one night was adjusting the hdmi CEC setting. Once the box was turned off and back on the problem started all over again.

Hello Mike, any idea why when I do this my Android box startup screen does not appear? The only thing that happens is the box's illumination light comes on. 😢 I have a Q+ android box by the way.

Hi I got a problem with my box so I get into the recovery mode, but my controller is broken, so none of they keys work on the USB keyboard and on the USb remote that I have to select the factory reset option, what should I do ( my box is stuck in a boot loop so I can't install anything on it)

Try using the USB cable method in the other video in the playlist. You control everything from the pc rather than the box itself

You might need to try the usb restore version in the other video we have done or it could be a hardware failure

I have an old stream smart pro. I got jacked on the deal I paid way too much and as we all know now they are a scam. I am determined to use the 500 US that I have in this box. Please help if you can.
