All those old coolant hoses, never throw them away. Instead, cut them into the needed length, than slice that piece lengthways and put it over the new hose to protect the new hose from future rubbing against whatever. Than use cable ties to hold them in place. When I buy a new truck I will spend hours doing this, and making sure that all clamps are snug. So glad that you got it running. I absolutely love the factory blue on the frame rails.

First, you need at least a 200 gallon (757 liter) fuel tank so you can fuel up at home. Second, I know just how you feel. I have been working on my own engine replacement, granted it was a 2 cylinder diesel in a small tractor, but after building a new exhaust and then trouble shooting the ground connections it still wouldn't start. I tracked it down to some critter chewed wires. Just this last Tuesday, in my outdoor shop, I patched the wires, turned the key, and it turned over, and then with a little adjustment it came to life. Hey, not bad for a first time. So, yeah. I'm glad you got to experience what a lot of us probably do when we bring them back from the dead. Cheers
