I lived in London as a French guy…problem with the city is too many people, most not British, and the mentality is soulless, everyone just goes to work and grinds without any other social goal. Rents are insane too, you easily spend half your salary on rent or more if you want to live well. It’s a great city if you make it in the high level industries. Would never live there as a regular joe though.

Fun video as usual. Never found London to be that nice, theres something cold about this city I dislike. IMO all it really has is job opportunities which is why people go there, and often end up miserable. It really doesn’t help that real estate is so expensive. If you had a good job but also could spend well and have low crime, even the weather would be bearable. But London is expensive and unless you are wealthy, the lifestyle just isn’t good. As a young professional life there is a hard grind. But on the other hand there are other nicer European towns but with more unemployment so it’s always about what you want to sacrifice. But what I dislike the most about London is the vibe. It’s kind of a boring corporate vibe with too many cultures. It’s not the vibrant vibe of most European towns. Everything revolves around work in London imo. It’s the kind of city you spend 50 years in the rat race in…

The thing is that London not even have that interesting lifestyle being rich, I come from a moderate good family in the French Riviera and our grandfather used to have a condo in Knightsbridge very close to Hyde Park, we would stay there for weeks and going to museums, opera, Wimbledon, Cartier Queen's tournament, some Michelin restaurants, but everything seemed so boring, and the vibe it's just so industrial, is exactly what you say, a place where people from all over the world go to work and don't mind everything else, I would say London is the best place in the world for luxury shopping in every niche, tailored clothes and also some events like Polo, F1, Tennis, Soccer but that's it, a very famous and rich but extremely boring place.
