Mikey ~ Burning Down the House

1992 my son and I worked together on a film called Mikey. A lot of people wonder why I let him play this crazy killer kid. Brian was 9 at the time. He'd been acting since he landed the role Andrew Keaton at the age of 4 1/2. He knew the difference between real and fake just fine. And he had a ball with this role.
Mikey was Brian's first feature film, and my second acting job. I play the school secretary, Eva. It is the only time that I have ever created artwork that was supposed to be done by a psycho kid.
We shot it in Arizona and the budget was only a million dollars. As you can see, we got to hang out with really great people and see how to burn down a house.
