The Texas Rig is a standard in bass fishing and I wish someone would have told me about these 2 worms earlier. A swimming worm, a stick bait like a senko, and a ribbon tail worm are some of the best lures to catch bass all summer long. In this vide we talk about how to fish them to catch more bass a little different from other anglers.

My favorite part about your channel is you aren’t shoveling your sponsored brand down our throat. You mention you use the gambler work, then you switched your vocabulary to using “ribbon tail”. Respect to you for that. That’s an anomaly on KZbin these days

nobody wants to listen to that crap man so i try to steer clear of it - i know i wouldn't want to watch that for 10 minutes.. i got brands i like, i got brands that help with the channel, but in the end if it catches fish and works we're gonna talk about it. gotta keep it #real.

Scott encouraged his dad, Roland, to get involved with social media. Anyway, I ran across him fishing a Senko color 297 with a pegged bullet weight. I get a kick out of Roland. I’m almost his age. Anyway, I thought I would try it but never did. And I was catching plenty on a wacky or weightless Texas rig. Fast forward to this video. Well, thanks to your reminder I now have another super tool for the summertime bass. BTW, you got me using the the large Gambler burner worm this year. It has been killer for me far out doing the old standbys. When you teach and share it is a real treat. Thanks so much.

Can't beat a worm, lately I've been throwing 6-7 shaky head style straight tail worms on wacky rigs & weightless texas rig. Just something soft than everyone else throwing a wacky stick bait. The weightless version has a lot more of a gliding action with flat bottom & being longer. It's been getting me lot of bites!

Oh, you're definitely an O.G. but the real O.G. is the B.O.G. who's the D.O.G.! I consider myself an O.G. too. I'd venture to say I was probably one of the very first people ever to film MYSELF bass fishing. I won a HEADTRIP hands free camcorder on 'the Price Is Right' way back in '94. It was a small camera mounted on a neoprene headband that connected to a belt which held an 8mm color monitor. I had 5 blowups on a Snag Proof Moss Master Tournament frog the 1st time out. That was in 1995. O.G. for sure.😎
