The thing about Dybala and why he’s disappointing in general despite being very good Is he just… was what he was, at like 20-21 years old. Everyone sees a young talent and projects insane progression+ability for them but sometimes you just are what you are and as fans we have a hard time accepting stagnant development even though all players have different developmental timelines

I think his brand is just tied to Serie A and as that leagues standard has fluctuated during his career there. At palmero he was a hotshot upstart and got his move to Juve etc, who were regarded as at least top 5 in Europe considering expectations and hype, thats not the same anymore, Prem teams and Real Madrid have some what cemented that authority for themselves. The power rankings are much different now. Tottenham still isn’t a standout team though, he’s better going to madrid, PSG(?), liverpool, arsenal, city, bayern if any of them even show interest, I fear he won’t be appreciated outside of the wider footballing community otherwise.

Not correct! It was Dybala himself who turned down the move and wanted to stay. Juventus were ready to do business and we were working on announcing a certain player (I actually came up with the tagline that we would use to announce him had it gone through).
