As a Villa fan I really wish you lads luck in the nearer future of the takeover. From someone who watches Serie A as my 2nd watched league after the Prem I will say that the Friedkins are owners that clubs should be grateful to have. They don't mess around. I'm sure you've saw the controversy online by the Roma fans over the quick sacking of De Rossi after 4 games which just shows that they're owners that want their club to do well, and succeed. Since their time at Roma they've employed quite decent coaches since their ownership takeover. Their first coach was Paulo Fonseca who was a Europa League semi-finalist, Jose Mourinho who won the conference on his first season, and was a Europa league finalist. Yes you can say Jose's sacking was an interesting one but still shows the Friedkin's passion to the sport and wanting to achieve. For Everton it's a big boost especially for bringing in top level managers which they are very good at attracting. I'm hearing Sarri's name as a possible candidate to replacing Dyche and if that happens it will be one of the best appointments you make since Ancelotti.

Great comment. Its awesome that you know so much about Serie A and can offer that insight. I’m excited to have them as owners ans they’ve done an incredible job with Roma and they also invest as well. I’ve seen Roma’s spend since Friedkin arrived that man is willing to put some money into his club which is always appreciated Everton are going to need a lot of investment especially next season as next season we have 12 contracted players I believe, with many contracts expiring so we’re gonna need some spend in the team. In regards to sarri its an ambitious choice and I like it I don’t have a problem with going for these top level managers but you can feeel free to call me silly if you like if you disagree however I don’t know if going for these top established managers like Sarri is necessarily the right thing for us right now. I don’t really think Sarri would maybe be the best fit hes the best in terms of managerial ability we could get but I do wonder if perhaps its not a right fit because Everton tried the Ancellotti thing and hes the best manager Everton have had in a long long time and he did well but I wonder if maybe someone like a Mark Robbins from Coventry would actually be a better fit for Everton. Maybe Everton need to be with a manager who’s trying to build his career and get that top opportunity, rather than going for that top tier established manager. Someone like a Mark Robbins for me would maybe be the better fit in my opinion because he’s done amazing things with coventry, he’s more of a lower profile name but he’s someone that is waiting for that big gig and Imaube think that could maybe a better fit right now for where the club is. But obviously Sarri would be fantastic though

We've bounced off many the icebergs and nearly sunk many times, other than the supporters bailing out the water by hand to stay afloat. Everton board have been our downfall like a blind man on a galloping horse going nowhere fast. Now we have an owner who has a compass, extant and rudder, we can hopefully point our ship back up the table. Everton and Villa are sleeping giants. I am so happy Villa is amongst the top. You are a lovely honest club with great fans and play fair.. Hey, sit back and watch City PSR breach get no punishment than spending a hour on the naughty step.

@jorgeandrade783 You're absolutely spot on mate, and I know it sounds a bit odd Maurizio sarri to Everton in 2024 but for me, from someone who has watched a lot of what Sarri has done in the Serie A he's a manager that likes to bring clubs to success and we've seen that at Chelsea and Juventus. He's also a good tactician. He's good at attracting players, and he is very disciplined with what he does. If he was to take over Everton, one of his main objectives would be to get you to around mid table, kind of what Ancelotti did during lockdown. When it comes to the squad and you made a good point you would want to make sure players can fit your style of play, and I doubt many current players would. He's also a man not too heavy on the transfer market and neither are Friedkin. They like players who can be developed and fit a good style of play as under Dyche it's not working so Friedkin won't always just splash the cash but when they think a transfer is nailed on then they go for it kind of like they do now at Roma. Sarri isn't the only name on the list, the Friedkins love managers with good cvs. They're not really the sort that would pick a manager for the sake of it like Moshiri has done in the past. They like success and managers that are top level But look hopefully you find that manager like we did, I can see Everton back in Europe any time soon

Sorry but i totally disagree with trying to defend the lead thats all dyche ever does n we have proved we cant do that...we actually need to do the opposite n kill games off by getting at teams n going for the jugular. Id rather lose trying to win that lose trying to defend what you have by retreating n bringing on defensive players for forward players

Everton need a complete transformation, new manager my choice Xavi Alonso from Bayer Leverkusen I watched them twice last season and they played like Liverpool and Real Madrid, top goalkeeper, solid defence, 2 speedy wingers and rapid counter attack which terrifies defences (Liverpool have been playing that way for 50 years) Oh! and by the way Leverkusen walked their league last season.
