I've redone the chain twice and foundation row twice and chained 126. Sc in 4th chain from hook all the way back and only get 62sc and not 63like the pattern says...unless I'm counting the first turning chain as a single crochet as well...that would add up to 63 total... Did the 1st row and got 62sc only as well...not sure what I'm doing wrong

You could just add an extra chain to get the right amount. I would do that.
