Mikey thank you for doing these loom videos. I have been trying to loom knit for some time and having a problem doing it. I appreciate you sharing your insight and I am more confident and will be trying again soon as soon as I finish the Aran Hear Throw I am working on

I started this today, and I am getting the laddering at the end/beginning rows.

Make sure the first time you start a round, you pull it tight as you let it rest when you were knitting.

What do you do if you have a slipped stitch

Awesome- thank you! You mentioned in another video that this set of looms didn’t include a child’s size. I need to be able to make hats for a five, seven and nine year old. Any suggestions? Thank you!
@TheCrochetCrowd4 жыл бұрын
Yeah you need to find a loom of that size. I think Michaels has one in a separate package.

@@deb9156 I have the Loops ad Threeads Knitting loom set and the 36peg loom makes hats that fit my 7 and 8yos well! It's a four loom set the smallest would make preemie or doll hats, the largest for adult hats! The pick it comes with is decent too! Hope this helped =)

Do you have a problem with tension? And is there different stitches?
@CloudyWishes3 жыл бұрын
I seem to have a problem where I start and finish a row. The stitches seem to be looser, leaving gaps in hat from the brim to the top & I've no idea how to fix it. Can you comment on what you think in doing wrong?
@TheCrochetCrowd3 жыл бұрын
Pull on the loop before starting a new rnd. It’s common if you don’t pull to tighten before starting a new round.

How many rows did you do after the brim was made guessing wise?
@TheCrochetCrowd4 жыл бұрын
One moment. There's a pattern. Let me open it.
@TheCrochetCrowd4 жыл бұрын
I didn't count the rows, I just aimed for 7.5" with a tape measure. That's the average size baby head for dimensions for clothing design. So really not guessing, but measuring to ensure it will fit.
