What a terrific idea! To stuff it I have zip lock bags full of *yarn tips* (gathered when I cut the tails off of various projects). I crochet a lot so I literally have enough to stuff that entire draft dodger blocker. Love this project and can't wait to do it.

Just finished my 'sausage' 🤩. Started on Friday evening en 5 minutes ago I put it in front of the door of our living room. I used cotton, just one strand with a 4mm hook and it worked out really fine. Changed irregularly between 5 different soft colours to give it a bit of character. I think I will make some more for the other rooms in the house! ❤

What I really love about this, I can wash it!! ❤❤I am 100% making one, maybe 2 of these. I live in a house that is about 95 yrs old. It's SO drafty! ☃ 😳

I have so many color combinations in my mind. Can really get creative. Plus I have a lot of super saver I won't use on anything else. Thank you. People think these are just for winter. But it also keeps cool air in in summer.

Mikey what about using a ruler 📏 to push the stuffing in.just a suggestion i have been crocheting since I was 7 years old. I am 64 years old senior citizen.

I just used polyfil for crafts and toys. You can try other things. I want it washable so anything inside I don't want to collect moisture that cannot evaporate.

It thickens up the material but if you are happy with using 1 strand, by all means do it. :D
