@Steven Criscione i'm a 2nd bass in a classical choir, singing mostly larger pieces in Latin, as "Bass II" you're expected to sing as high as E4, (which is extreme for a low bass like myself) so i was simply wondering, when such an abnormally deep bass as an Oktavist is asked to sing above c4, how is that even possible..! I have seen notes for 1st basses as high as F#4 ...!!!!! The tortured faces they make when they reach for it 🤣🤣🤣

Very respectfully Mr Kruglov, I have to tell you that you are my favourite oktavist. You are very musical and expressive.You have a very touching interpretations. I have only heard the 3 vids you posted here and less than that was enought to place you as first. You simply sound perfect and very integrated with the sense of the notes. I am also a bass and I can sing all the oktavist's pieces. I am very interested in getting some help or/and information

Hi Mr Mikhail. I deeply admire and love the way to sing of russian basses. I am from colombia and a few seconds ago i just saw in some nes online that you were here in my country. You were in girardot also with Mr Miller, just in this month 3 weeks ago. Is there some chance to hear you again? I live un bucaramanga but i will travel anywhere else to hear you live. (if i dont bother you), do you know how much possibilities a person with my range could be an oktavist? Could I explore and study my "contra" notes with a normal singer or its neccesary to study with an oktavist ?(i ask it because i feel that the technique is different)... in that case, do you know oktavists teachers here in south america?

Einfach genial . Ich frage mich allerdings wieviel der Herr Kruglov da schon getrunken hat , wird nicht wenig gewesen sein . Aus meiner eigenen Erfahrung als Bass weiß ich das die Stimme mit zunehmendem Alkoholkonsum tiefer wird .

Cela ne s'appelle pas chanter, mais gueuler, meugler, brailler ... tellement le timbre est forcé, sans aucun naturel. Juste une bruit métallique fatiguant. L'Allemagne a de très belles basses aujourd'hui ou eu d'excellentissimes basses (le regretté et immense Kurt Moll). Les oktavistes s'inscrivent dans une culture, mais la totalité seraient incapables d'interpréter Zarastro ou Osmin sur scène. Ils seraient aphones bien avant la fin. Il est tellement facile de forcer sa voix en chantant lentement dans une église qui amplifie le son par exemple. En revanche, chanter juste (ce qui est parfois et souvent le problème avec les okatvistes qui forcent tellement leur voix qu'ils sont en dehors de leur tessiture), avec la puissance demandée par le chant lyrique est une autre paire de manches

​​​@@raphaelb8671зачем Октависту и как петь арии Зарастро и Осмина? Это не их тесситура ,слишком высоко. То же самое ,что Басу давать петь арию Надира из "Искателей жемчуга". Октавист, это не Бас ,а более низкий тип голоса. Бас поёт- басом , а Октавист поёт- октавой

about the possibilities of studiying oktavism. I belong to a choir. I started singing a few years ago, so despite i dont have yet a good management of the singing technique, i have the lowest voice of the basses here. As you could see, our country is very limitated with exceptional things as the oktavism, and our race neither helps. To find a bass here is a challenge. My voice is suposed to be weird here. Im not a singer, I study piano but I would like you to tell me
