the lindstrom co (the distributor not manufacturer) system vadasz mikiphone there where several versions of this little phono there was the T.S.K. Co pocket phone wich was the first incarnation 2nd the piccophon wich was a 2 color version mainly found in black and red 3rd the mikiphone the most common one and the jabaphone wich was an oval version with 2 inter-changable cases 1 metal 1 leather what ever took one's fancy what the first name was of mr vadasz i never did find out but the mikiphone class type machines where not his only innovations there where also the bauhaus portables made by parlophone and odeon (also lindstrom) these also carry the name system vadasz these are large round portables with a long half-circular tone-arm the sound of this mikiphone isn't very good i think the gaskets of the reproducer are shot and need to be replaced normally the sound is surprisingly good loud and clear with quite unexpected bass response for such a little machine. this one resonates very badly

Antique stores, don't know the exact size of the needle but you could always find boxes of phonograph needles laying around more rare I know but antique shops would be the first place to look. I don't know the size of the needles for this and even if you found a box of phonograph needles that they would work. You are very lucky.
