Those things are gonna rip next year! stoked! And yes all loose surface Rallies, as part of the entry fees usually, include funds to repair roads afterwards. Why they sometimes don't get repaired is a good question.. Happens all the time here in the US. Makes me wonder why I am paying so much to enter an event..

It's all about the organizators. If they do not repair the roads, goverment doesn't care.

Why are they testing the 2017 model for Rally Poland if they will have to use their current 2016 spec over there?

They aren't testing it for Rally Poland 2016, they're testing it for next season.

Do rally drivers ever think about the people who will have to take that road, that the rally is on, every day to work? Because I 've had rally go right along my house on a gravel road and nobody repairs the roads afterwards so normal people have to drive on the crap road the rally leaves, and don 't get me started on what happens when rain comes...

talk to your local county council, i'm pretty sure there was plenty of funds allocated to the event, perhaps they didn't reach where they were meant to go as it happens quite often all over the world... and no, rally drivers don't think about it, why should they? stick to cos play or whatever you do, blame game isn't applicable here

The event pays to use the road and that money covers the owner of the road to do the repairs. It's all down to the owner of the road and not down to the events that use them
