With face up Pai Gow, the house edge is lower (1.81%). Even though there is no 5% commission on face up Pai Gow, the dealer pushes the players whenever they deal themselves an ace high hand (which is a sub-par hand). Plus the dealer beats any two card or five card ties (known as a copy). Mikki is definitely incorrect, there is no way that this is a break even game. This would be a comp hustler's dream if he was right.

Not exactly it's used as a game for the alcoholics to play and avoid some social stigma. You might lose a bit but it's alot less then any other game. Although doesn't always work that way.

I don't know for certain. I've seen some videos of him gambling big money. My best guess is that he's won but not by using a system, just gambling high stakes and having a good run. Which happens a lot.
