Fun fact: Miko was my first Vtuber. I was actually going through some severe PTSD-related depression and was in a really bad spot. So I went online, to just try and find some videos about PTSD and how other veterans were managing it... and I found a video called "Miko has PTSD"... And the "tasukete!" yell had me doubled over laughing and falling out of my chair. I watched some more of her goofball antics afterward and was laughing until my face hurt. And I'd completely forgotten what got me there in the first place. They say that laughter is like an anesthetic, or 'the best medicine'... but it's more than that- it's like Popeye's spinach, it makes you even stronger.

@@joe9893 Hey, man- I appreciate that. I've learned some techniques for dealing with it, too- and it is actually LAUGHING. Sometimes when something happens, and I get rattled and go 'out of my head'- I'll stop and just laugh at it, as if I've been 'got' by a practical joke or something. I even follow it up with a Rick Flair "Wooo!" and just shake it off. If you can laugh at a thing, it has less power over you.

The thing with her Elite English is that she has simultaneously a good grasp on the language and no clue at all. And I think we all remember the Freedom Lady situation. Her knowledge of the language is lacking, but she absolutely knows how to get her point across. She can communicate, and that is what language is about. Oh, and I learned the rules just from JP holomem playing it, similar to Buckshot Roulette.

What, really, if you say Jdon you think of Bae?? I always think of Hajime and Kaela since they're the ones that made it. And Kaela keeps saying Jdon to Kobo, that's all I vividly remember happened. Bae didn't even came to my mind even if it's from her stream, she even rejected and angry about that word.
@nrgn1833 ай бұрын
Because Jdon My Soul is the creation from all participants during Bae quiz. Start from Bae australia accent sentences Then Hajime accent changed it into rough jdon. Kaela polished the jdon and Kobo finished it into Jdon my shout. Miko with her elite english changed my shout into mai soru. And Nerissa concluded the sentence with jdon suru my soul. Bae resist and said to them there is no jdon or my soul words in that sentences while the other persist that there are those words inside. That is why it becomes meme. Basically jdon my soul happened and lot of ppl put it as bae trait because this is the result for inviting 5 language comedians into that quiz.

Real gachikois who spend all their money on vtubers thinking they will reciprocate are a sad sight, but when Holomems like Miko throw around the word gachikoi, it's more of like just a dedicated fan, not to an unhealthy parasocial extent. It's like using the word simp in a joking manner. The word sort of loses the intensity nowadays and can be used to refer to slightly more loyal fans.
