Every day new videos and news stories of off duty/retired cops and even family members of active/retired cops getting treated like children who spilled a glass of milk after being pulled over for a DUI hit and run blowing 3x over the legal alcohol limit, like literally having the cops on duty just call a tow truck for their car and giving them a ride home instead of kicking the shit out of them and taking them to jail like they would anyone else. All sorts of stuff cops do off duty and even after retiring/being fired is swept under the rug exclusively because of their police association. And even if it wasnt that way, there's still PLENTY of bad stuff someone like this could do ON DUTY as a cop.

I agree with most of what Milk said about this. I have been in Security for almost 30 years. However, I lost my license for a year because I have a violent felony and was on Rikers for 6 months after breaking this dude’s face and was in juvenile detention as a kid. I had to re-apply for my security license and have a hearing before a judge to get reinstated after I got out of jail. So, you occasionally get someone like me who has been a citizen and a goon off and on-but it is rare. I have been in Security (all kinds) since age 18 and I have known quite a few guys like Miko. They’re fairly common: These are guys who want to be cops real bad but are either real dumb or they can’t pass the psych eval because they’re truly 5150 (730 here in NYC). I never took an exam for any city job. I was pretty happy just being regular security and never wanted to wear a police uniform, but guys like Miko will take the police exam and fail and then take the FDNY test and fail and then become a CO eventually because Corrections is filled with human garbage who will take anyone with a pulse and a relatively clean record (notice I said RELATIVELY) A lot of these wannnabe cops will be Auxiliary Police (the biggest group of herbs ever--they want to to play Police and not get paid for it because that’s how bad they wan to be a cop. For every genuine do-gooder that is an auxiliary, there are 3 psychopath mental defectives like Miko hoping it will give them extra points on the police exam because they’re too stupid or crazy to make it through the academy. These guys are just as sad as stolen valor/fake military guys. Real herbs.

This is probably the best version of every video exposing Miko. I’m not going to lie I was a fan of Miko World Wide when he was doing videos in D.R. I used to watch all his videos faithfully because he did a great job showing the country that I missed so much and he would go to all the places that people wouldn’t dare to step foot in the place. So when all this happened almost a year ago I was shocked I gave him the benefit of a doubt because he represented himself well he was always well mannered and well spoken and he would get along with everyone in his videos. Like I said he really did a great job showing the countries that he would visit so when the News first broke I couldn’t believe it he doesn’t seem like the type to do everything he’s being accused of. I’m very disappointed and mad at myself for being a fan of a really sick person.
