This song caught my attention the first time I ever heard it. It was a must have for me lol. Now I know how sad it is yet I feel it has a bittersweet feel to it. In the end she's singing about how she still keeps the person within her which could signify that she has gained the strength to withstand the occasion and overcome it as that person becomes a memory. I may just be over analyzing it but I believe this song should mean more than what it is at face value which would be being just a sad song.

Wow, we're typing at the same time! LOL. My response to you, Carlos M: NOT OVER ANALYZING! You, like I, are moved by music, and seek the deeper meanings in these Vocaloid songs. I don't know where you live, but here in America, virtually every one of my friends thinks I am completely "nuts" and "crazy" for listening to this "gibberish" and "Chinese" music (that's a direct quote from a friend of mine who had beers with me last weekend - he called it "Chinese stuff". LOL But I have for years gravitated to what I personally feel are the inner meanings and intent of Vocaloid songs - SO MANY of them have far deeper meanings than their "happy" tune indicates - think of "Deep Sea Girl", Rin's "Tokyo Teddy Bear", the duet "Magnet", Miku's "Monochrome Blue Sky", Miku's "Uta ni Katachi wa nai Keredo" - among just a few in my head that have "happy, fun" sounding tunes but then dig into the words, and..... Changes the entire meaning of the songs to me. Music to me has always been a personal experience - I believe songs hit people differently - Depending on how we live, where we live, and our situations. I agree with you on your analysis of the song's meaning, and appreciate that you share those thoughts with me (and umm, the rest of the world???). See ya around. Thanks for the comments.

I've been a vocaloid fan for a mere 4 months now and watching clips like this really gives me the buzz that i got when i first got into it. Her voice sounds incredible. I love songs that have a lot of meaning behind them, and this was simply beautiful. It's a bit of a shame i'm probably not gonna be able to see her live for a while (due to things like school) but when i do, i will be sure to make the most of it, especially if it'll captivate me like this! It's just a shame that i don't really know anyone who's into vocaloid, huh.

Oh Elliot, we have to talk here, my friend. Several things I will tell you: 1. First, welcome to the global Vocaloid community! We are happy that you have found us! That may sound creepy, don't let it be. Just understand that Vocaloid music is a worldwide phenomenon, and you are now a part of it. Enjoy. You are NEVER alone - we are everywhere - Europe, Asia, Russia, Australia, South America, Africa, and slowly even here in North America where I am. As you explore Vocaloid, you will start bumping into more and more people who, like you, love the music for what it is - beautifully crafted, thought out and meaningful tunes. 2. Don't worry about "not gonna be able to see her live for awhile..." The beauty of Vocaloid is that this movement will be "forever", as long as there are fans willing to compose music for her/them, share subtitled videos like I do, join together in Facebook groups (I am a part of a number of fan FB groups of over 8,000 + members worldwide), and fans who cherish the simplicity, the beauty of the music. Hatsune Miku-chan will be there for you when you need her or have time to spend with her. 3. Like you, I gravitated to Vocaloid music 2 years ago for the same exact reason as you - I craved songs that were well composed, with real meanings behind them, and I could personally "connect" with. If you like Vocaloid songs like this, watch some of my subtitled songs. I consider them to be this way. They move me even now, having been working with them for sometimes weeks or months. Video subtitling takes a LOT of time. 4. You think Miku's V3 Voicebank sounds good? Wait until you hear V4. It's amazing. 5. I don't know where you live, but you can certainly Facebook friend request me, or simply find my FB page - Miku Fan USA. I can then help you if you have questions on Vocaloids in America, if this is where you reside. VocAmerica is forming with several very prominent P's backing the venture - the first concert is next month in Minneapolis, ironically my home town. 6. Finally, it's all about the music and meaning of the songs to me, as well. No matter your mood, you can find a song (or 100) of Vocaloids that will touch you at that time. Explore. And welcome to the Global community of Vocaloid lovers. Your friends will think you're crazy (mine do), but someday they WILL understand. And you'll be a hero. Trust me. Thanks for the comment, sorry for the long read; You hit me at midnight after a long work day. I needed to type this out to you..............

Good luck to you, and maybe we'll stand and scream together at a distant Vocaloid concert! They are AMAZING. NOTHING like what a video can capture - If you know anything about the "technology" of Miku (I'm kinda a techy guy, so I like to research this stuff), she is projected at 120 fps, which is what our eyes see every moment of the day. However, even my best video camera can only record at 60 fps, but I usually shoot at 15 - 30 fps to save storage........ Meaning, what you see on these videos IS NOT what your eyes see at a concert......... Just FYI. And again, welcome to the family. See ya around.

Yes, that's the magic of Vocaloid to me. We have all lost people close to us - either a relationship, a lover, a family member, a friend. The songs and their lyrics speak to me differently, based on my mood and life events on different days. I find music to be a great comfort to me during these times in my life of loss. I find this song particularly helpful to me, as I have also just recently lost a family member (brother in law). sonikku, I am sorry for the loss of your Father. That was a most difficult time for you and your family, I understand completely. We cannot bring back those people we loved from the dead, but we can always take comfort in the memories that you have of your Father. Yes, of course, for all of us "life goes on", as your Father wishes it for you, but you will never forget him, and the joy that he brought to you! I take great comfort in music, as you do, as well. You can, and do, honor your Father when you express yourself to others with your comments such as this. However, I encourage you to talk to the rest of your family, as well as your friends about your feelings that you have for losing your Father. They will give you tangible comfort and love to allow your "life to go on". Hang in there, and thank you for the nice message. Good luck, and again, sorry for the loss of your Father.

Gerald, I am so sorry to hear of your dark and difficult times you are living through right now. We all have them sometimes - when we lose a loved one, when long-term relationships end, when we say "goodbye" to a friend, when we suffer physical pain or injury. These emotions are universal to all humans in the world. When I go through difficult times, I also turn to music. The beauty of Vocaloid music is that there is "a song out there" that perfectly portrays the way I feel at that moment - good or bad. I also agree with you about "Glow". It helped me, like a lifeline, when I went through a very difficult time in 2016 and 2017. I was comforted by the melody and the words. I hope you, as well. I guess all I can say is that it helps to talk to friends and relatives now - don't live the difficult times you are going through alone. Seek out people. Real people. And keep listening to Vocaloid or just music, in general. I don't know your exact problems now, but they will eventually pass, and the sun will shine again tomorrow. I recently lost my brother-in-law to Alzheimers Disease. I found great comfort in this song when he finally died: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pGrLf4drmt-WpMU There are subtitles. Bad breakup indeed. Or death of a loved one. Or having to leave a loved one. I completely agree. That's why I put the dedication slide into the video, because we've all "been here" if you're over 20 years old. It's also why I am so passionate about Vocaloid songs - without the words, you would "think" the song is a standard "western style" love ballad, until you see the translation!

This song was uploaded on my birthday (thank you Miku Fan USA) and it was also at the same time I lost my grandmother. A person who took care of me and raised me during my infant years while my parents were working. This song captures a lot of the emotions I felt that day and had to cope with.

Brian, good morning. Happy Friday. Wow, thanks for watching my video, and for the nice message. First and foremost, I am sorry to hear about the loss of your Grandmother. All humans have to face days and moments when we lose those who we hold dear to us; It is sadly a fact of life - death. I feel that music, and the power and emotions of music, helps me during times of stress and emotional loss and sadness. Maybe you, as well. In terms of the timing of my production, all I can say is that the song came to you at the time you needed to hear it. I have spent months in Japan, and firmly believe in Buddhist "Karma" and Shinto "Kami" energy in this world - all around us at all times. The Kami deities directed this song to you at the time you needed to hear and understand it. I hope that you found some comfort in your loss of your Grandma when you listened it it. Miku is ultimately just a vessel, or instrument, of the Producers who actually compose these songs. We all thank their skills and artistry when we listen to these songs. Some touch the soul of those who listen to them. As I wrote in my "comments" section of this video, "Glow" came to me also when I needed to hear it. It was a rough time in my life at that moment, and I felt compelled to translate it. Anyway, sorry for the long read. I guess it's Friday. See you around, and thanks for watching my video.

I hope to see this live somewhere before I die, but that's likely not happening. I do wish they'd play more of Keeno's list apart from Glow; he's improved significantly since Glow's initial release. Now here is a comment on my KZbin channel that I can enjoy and savor on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Wow, thank you for your astute comments StellariumSound, and for taking the time to type them out for us to enjoy. Obviously, you are a person like me who understands musical structure, given your comment on "bridge solos", etc. I also appreciate the "hook" of many vocaloid songs, as well as the interesting rhythms, pitch levels, and tempos that mere "humans" can simply not achieve. Vocaloids can extend the musical performances into something here to for were unattainable for a composer of music. "I hope to see this live somewhere before I die". Well, I had that experience with "Glow" in the Miku Expo Dallas and Austin Texas concerts in 2018. Perhaps one day I will put my video of that experience out on KZbin for all to enjoy (though maybe I did in my Expo concert videos? I can't remember! It's been a long time since I watched them! I don't usually watch my own videos, after all. kzbin.info/www/bejne/g5ncp4V9faadnNE Perhaps I filmed "Glow". I will say, over the past 7 years, some days I move away from Vocaloid, but it's always the Vocaloid community that brings me back to listening to them. If you look at my KZbin channel, though, you will see that I tend to favor (and subtitle) the old standards from Project DIVA, but always I do live concerts. I have attended 11 Magical Mirai and 5 Miku Expo concerts, so the live concerts for me is "where it's at". I LOVE the interactions with the 39 Band members, who do not receive enough credit for their amazing performances. For the drummer to not rush the tempo, since Miku is fixed rate, when there's 65000 people screaming and rushing the beat is simply amazing to me. It takes so much concentration for the live performers, I think. And, since I'm a gaijin in Japan, I always have front and center seats at MM concerts, so this allows literal eye contact with the Band members. In 2018, both Takahiro-san and Masaru-san recognized me at the concerts - I'm tall and white, so I really stick out... and gave me the greatest of personal concerts that year. So fun! My personal "hope to songs before I die" moments came in 2019 with "Ai Kotoba" and "Odds & Ends" performed live. WOW. Whew, sorry for the long reply, I guess you struck a nerve in me. Thanks for enjoying my video. It is a simpler time, indeed. Stay safe.

@@LoveJapan Agree on the technical intricacies of Vocaloid; I used to dabble in basic sound design as a hobby. Our biology holds us back from pulling off some of the musical structures you see in Vocaloid; fast singing, rapid and repeated pitch changes, or simply not taking a breath after extended singing. Vocaloid songs have long exploited this artificiality; Keeno has said himself at one point that he's stopped worrying about Miku not being able to realistically take breaths during vocal spreads. The artificial "vocoder" nature of vocaloid also kinda/sort-of lends itself to easier audio effects and mod work; I suspect our ears are too attuned to natural voices that we can more easily notice when it's been tampered with. Hence the number of minor Miku-derivatives. Then again... that artificiality is exactly the kind of quality of Vocaloid can be subverted for great effect. See Mitchie M's godlike skill and audio-realism or Supercell adding in breathing sounds to Odds and Ends (if you listen closely). I"m not aware of other examples, it's been too long. I will say that I lament the fact that "the vocaloid community" has always been somewhat obscure; there has never been a single place for them/us to congregate in all these years. No major subreddit, major webforum, etc. No centralization, no community hub. The closest things to it may be KZbin, which is highly decentralized, and NND, which is not very accessible for those outside JP. Even Piapro couldn't come out with a centralized community hub; all these years, I think that's been hurting the community the most. My concert experience begins and ends with Miku Expo 2016 at San Francisco (and only cuz I was in the neighborhood), so I ain't got much to say there about the live scene. There is something about the live scene that just can't be compared to solo listening; something you'll never understand without having gone to a concert. "Last Night, Good Night" is not a song that ever made me cry. Until I saw it live. Fantastic showing by the live artists there as well. I'd go to more lives if they're near my area; the thought of traveling long distances brings out my anxiety. I envy your experience and bravery in traveling. Kinda hope I'm not too late to the vocaloid party actually; my favorite producers are either gone or not very active. I haven't been around in MANY years. I feel like someone who likes listening to music artists who've already died: Beatles, Elvis, or MJ, liking this music but knowing little more can be found. Thankfully, Keeno is still sporadically active; he's an absolute god to me. He is all I've got left and all I need. The day I can see one of Keeno's later songs like "Before Light" get shown in concert is the day I can die in peace; though given literally none of his pieces other than "Glow" have hit concert setlists (to my knowledge), I suspect that won't happen. All for the better; his ballads already brought me to tears solo. I might dessicate myself crying hearing "Crack", "Bitter", "Before Light", "Alternate", or "Morning Haze" live. So eat a long reply yourself, I guess. Looking forward to any future footage. Godspeed, you absolute fucking legend. I'd be honored to share a drink.

@@StellariumSound OH MY GOD, I just read your amazing and thought-provoking reply now, Stellarium Sound. I am SO SORRY for not seeing your message before now; I have, obviously, a "real job" and KZbin aint it! LOL. I've never made a penny off of any of my videos, nor will I ever. So...... Got to pay the bills with the real job, and this past week I was super busy in the office. So sorry for my late reply to your most amazing comments here. So let me first say thank you. Thank you for spending the time to reply back to my long message (sorry bout that), and for giving me a small insight into your mind. It's awesome (both your insights and your mind). So first off, I want to wish you and your family are staying healthy from coronavirus, and that you are healthy and well. After all, we're all in this together, and together we will conquer this plague on the earth. So that's point 1. Now some comments (if you will indulge me) on some of your other thoughts in your message. In most all of your thesis here I agree completely with. With one important caveat - there are many, many young and exciting new Vocaloid P's who are "up and coming" ready, eager, and talented to take the places of those P's who have either passed away sadly, or have "moved on" to other endeavors (with many, such as Ryo Supercell, now composing music for "non Vocaloid" voices). But still, I have had the honor to have attended 11 Magical Mirai concerts. It seems that over the past 5 years, Magical Mirai concerts have become the ground zero for new Vocaloid music, while Miku Expos highlight the "older standards" of Vocaloids. Lately, I've really fallen in love with 40mP, Dixie Flatline (granted, been around awhile), OmoiP (I mean, come on, even an 80 year old would jump up and dance to "Greenlights Serenade"!), KurageP, Junky, to name just a few. Granted, it's nice to see Hachioji-P still composing for Vocaloid, and kz's not out yet either. And keeno, like you say, too. But I think that's the "beauty" of Vocaloid - the VAST and UNLIMITED diversity of Vocaloid P's - they are all around the world, men, women, old and young. All of their talents can come together "as one" and create beautiful and lasting music. Even working together, and OSTER Project kind of creation can happen. It's amazing to me to attend MM concerts - International fans sit always "front and center" - In 2019, I found myself chatting with Vocaloid fans from Russia, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Britain, and of course Japan. Most of us couldn't even freeking talk to each other, since we didn't translate each other's languages, but.... We all could grab each other and arm and arm sing to our favorite songs. It's just so magical! Not like any Foreigner, Taylor Swift, Earth Wind and Fire, Eric Clapton, Journey, Boston, James Taylor, The Boss, Madonna, and.... concerts I've ever attended. I'm like you, I've "been around" music for a long, long time. The fans of Vocaloid are the most "pure" and the most "diverse" group of people and composers I've ever seen or interacted with. Hell, I even attended a Village People concert in 1978! LOLOL, I've been around. But SSSHHH on that one, that will be our secret, right?! LOL I've attended 5 Miku Expo concerts. What Expo concert fans lack in organized fan cheering and penlight movement, they make up for in enthusiasm. Most are first-time visitors to the "spectacle" of a Vocaloid concert. Back in the day, they used to perform 39 songs in a row with no break. Try that human voiced famous singer, haha. I agree with you that in the world of "auto tuned" real-world singers, Miku's synthesized voice "artificiality" (as you say) is both accepted and exploited, yes. But we all know she's not "real", so obviously Vocaloid fans accept that as a basic fact. Hearing some famous rapper (no names hinted at) who need to be auto-tuned to be able to hold a concert C or B flat is a sad commentary on pop music in today's world. At least I feel this way! I hear you on traveling great distances, and the hesitation to do so. My God, I've spent 125 nights in Japan, all on vacation, since 2017. I was so stupid unprepared for the culture shock, the language shock, the food shock, the... all the shocks of traveling to Japan. It's just, so damn "foreign" to an American! But here again, when I was at Magical Mirai weekends, I was part of "the movement", and was excepted unconditionally, and without any prejudice or anxiety. My comfort level went right to "10" and I felt "at home". And let me tell you, in other parts of rural Japan, there is enormous prejudice that is still present against "gaijin". Jesus, I have NEVER experienced prejudice before Japan - It was so weird to get on a train in rural Japan and see three people look me up and down, give me a rather suspicious look, and then get up and move to another train car upon seeing me enter the train! But other Vocaloid fans? NOTHING like that! Finally, I also agree with you that I love the Vocaloid ballads. For one, I can easily understand the Nihongo, and for another, I feel the voicebanks resonate a bit better with the slower songs (and thereby taking advantage of the long no-breath phrasing, etc). One of my favs for personal reasons is ryuryu's Birthday. I went to 4 MM concerts in 2017, and this song (Miku's 10th birthday) had us all wet in the crowd. It was such a special experience. And as a father of 3 boys, I feel ryuryu wrote this song for me personally. kzbin.info/www/bejne/onLKmqhreteqpKs Wow, listen Stellarium, SO SORRY for the long reply. NO NEED to reply. We're all busy. I would be HONORED to stand next to you at a Vocaloid concert in San Fran after coronavirus. In fact, I guarantee I will join you. And beers? OF COURSE. That enhances the experience tremendously! Stay safe and stay healthy. Get your vaccine when you can do so. OOh, and Stellarium my friend, cut out the "legend" shit. Not a legend here, just a old guy who dabbles in KZbin as a hobby. ;)

i don't really know much about vocaloid at all considering i've only known about it for a couple of weeks now (i'd like to know more though, because i absolutely love it), but damn, this song is absolutely beautiful. almost made me tear up. thank you for the english translation! update, 8 months later: just stumbled upon this video again, i haven't heard this song since i wrote this comment. i'm crying now. i gotta say, i didn't stay interested in vocaloid much longer after this comment. but just a month ago, february 2021, i got back into vocaloid, and i think this time i will stay. again, thank you, the creator of this video, for sharing this video with me, and the wonderful reply to my original comment. i appreciate it so much, and i'm so glad to have found this video again as it's been hogging my mind for a few weeks now. anyway, i'll stop being sentimental now, as nobody is gonna read this anyway. but yeah, thank you. this means a lot. second update, a few minutes after the first update: stopped being sentimental, actually paid close attention to the lyrics for probably the first time. and wow. i'm crying even harder now. this hits way too close to home. my dad passed away from cancer about three years ago, when i was twelve. the pain doesn't leave. i want it to, cause hell, i hardly remember him, i was twelve. but it's never going to go anywhere. it's never gonna fade, even when i feel that my memories of him are fading away. this song feels way too relatable

Hello Kitty! I am sorry it took me four days to reply, I have been very busy at work. Thank you for your nice comment, though! All I can say is this: "welcome to the worldwide Vocaloid community!". We are happy you are here! I would say to you, as a new Vocaloid listener, to watch videos, join a few Vocaloid Facebook Groups (search for them, there are large ones out there!), and try to hunt down English subtitled Vocaloid songs if possible. Most importantly, when the next concert comes near you, try to grab some friends and get there! The concerts are SO FUN and 2D videos just do not show 3D performances truthfully. Based on your English, I would assume you live in America, perhaps? If so, the Miku Expo concerts have been re-scheduled for early 2021. There are many concert venues all around the country. Get to a concert! Good luck to you, and welcome again to the world of Vocaloid! We are happy you are here. Thank you for enjoying my video - I have many more on my channel, though so many have been taken down for copyright. See you around!

I can still sing along with them (though my voice is terrible, haha). I also love "deep" meanings of songs, too. Same as you. If you want to hear some of my favorites, go to my channel and look for my playlist "Japanese songs I've translated" or something like that (I can't remember exactly). There, you will find some great songs that I have translated. However, you should know also that I used to have over 50 Vocaloid/Japanese songs translated and on KZbin, but slowly they are all taken down for copyright rules. I've been finding vocaloid songs that are so good despite the time gap between now and when it was originally released. Case in point, Glow was apparently released in 2012, and it's 2021 now. I guess good songs really are timeless, I cen't help but believe in that statement more and more for every gem I find in this infinite expanse that is the global vocaloid community. Just, woah...

Falaple, hello and happy Sunday to you. Thank you for the nice comment. Indeed, great music is "timeless", right?! Just as you say in your comment. As you know by now, there are literally over 100,000 Vocaloid songs that have been produced and released to the world - from Producers all over the world, in multiple languages. Honestly, they reflect the full range of the human emotions. In all forms of musical production too. Sad? You can find 1,000 Vocaloid songs for this emotion. Happy? 1,000 more. Endless emotions. Lexi, first and most importantly, welcome to the Vocaloid Community! You will soon find many friends here. Many people of "like minds" in the community as you. We are a large, and very diverse community - old, young, men, women, and from all walks of life and most importantly, from all over the world. This makes the Vocaloid "culture" truly wonderful once you become a part of it. Listen, there is nothing quite as "bonding" as standing and screaming and singing and crying with 65,000 other people in a concert in Tokyo surrounded by fellow fans from Russia, China, Taiwan, Germany, Spain, Mexico, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Canada, and of course the USA too. And on and on. We all are "one" in the world of Vocaloid, so... In terms of Glow, you have to realize that there are over 200,000 Vocaloid songs out in the world. You will be able to find 100 that match your mood or feelings at any time. Songs "speak" to the human condition, and that's what is so powerful about music. Read my description of "Glow" attached to this video. Like you, I was drawn to this song for a specific reason in my life. It spoke to me. It gave me strength and confidence to move on. Read some of the comments on this video. You will understand. The fact that you called Miku "her" indicates to me that "you get it". So congrats on that! Sorry for the long read, I honestly just wanted to welcome you to the community. Attend a concert someday, you will understand. Oh, and you will most likely see me there. Say hi when you do, k?

Tan Kiet Ho, I am sad you cannot attend a Vocaloid concert in real life; Perhaps someday, though! Have faith that Miku-chan will come to your Country or city soon. I will say that the concerts are FAR MORE amazing than they look on videos - Miku in concerts looks "real", as the projection is at 120 fps, which is what the human eye sees normally. A video cannot film that quickly. And just the atmosphere of being part of this "big event" with other fellow fans is amazing! But, just remember, no matter where all of us Hatsune Miku fans are located in this world, we're all united in our love for her! Miku For Life, Miku For Love! Have a great day!

Arch, happy Monday night. Sorry for my late reply. Yes, over the past 7 years, I have been learning Nihongo, mainly from "Duolingo" and videos. BUT..... honestly, the only "real" way to learn Nihongo is to actually travel to Nihon, and speak with many many people there. That way, you learn the real "nihongo", and not something out of a book. To answer your question about "miku games". The answer is nope. Honestly, I attempted to play several Miku-related video games in a SEGA store in Matsumoto-shi (Japan), but wow, they are very difficult games!!! I failed, bad. Do you have any Miku games? If so, which ones? Hey, sorry for the long reply, I'm in a good mood tonight. Have a great Thanksgiving!

I only became a vocaloid fan 3 years ago give or take…I keep finding more songs which echo my soul My friends are surprised as they ‘grew out of vocaloid’…I am their senior, 32, they are 1-9 years younger I keep telling them, vocaloid are eternal, their songs connect, even more they are what their creators want them to be - songs of sibling love, Rin/Len; songs of incest love, also Rin/Len; songs of loss and recovery, Rin/Len, Miku/Luka, Meiko/Mako, Mako/Len; songs of stress of school life? ALL VOCALOIDS; want to create a new vocaloid? Combine/alter an existing voice This creativity this includes Doujinshi - some are tear jerking, others wtf, and some just wat? I believe Vocaloids can achieve world peace The voices of many are mightier than the sword

Good evening MysticDragon, and thank you for the wonderful message and comment here. You made me smile tonight, and to that I say "thank you"! Welcome to the world of Vocaloid, and welcome to the worldwide community of Vocaloid music. As you attest in your message, Vocaloid music transcends age, gender, sex, and cultures. You will soon realize that there are loyal Vocaloid fans from all over the world, and of all ages! Hell, I'm nearly TWICE as old as you!! LOLOL Gosh, I'm old, I guess. I will tell you a story: In 2018, I attended 4 Magical Mirai concerts in Makuhari Messe concert hall in Tokyo (Chiba). On one day, I was casually walking through the Expo prior to the next concert. I was astounded to see a roughly 85 year old COSPLAYER cosplaying Miku! I acknowledged her with a head bow, and she me. We smiled together. I think what that moment told me is that music is universal; Good music, "songs that reach into a person's soul" as you say, has no boundaries, no limits, no nationalities, no politics. As you say, they are "eternal". It is a great way to put this. World peace. I also hold to this belief. I have attended 11 Magical Mirai concerts in Japan and 6 Miku Expo concerts, including two in Taiwan in 2019. I will tell you honestly, that I have laughed, sung, screamed, cried, laughed, and partied with Vocaloid fans from literally every country in the world - even countries that America "hates" - Iran, Russia, China, etc. We all meet, and together, arm in arm, enjoy the moment of great music together! And the funny thing is that most of us don't even speak Japanese, LOLOL! I do, of course, haha. The point is that I agree with you - music can UNITE the world, and not DIVIDE the world! Have faith, and make new friends. Join some of the large Facebook groups, and enjoy the Vocaloid ride. There's more songs out there for you to discover. And when you see me at the next concert, make sure you say "hi" to me! :)

@@mysticdragonwolf89 haha, right??!!! Actually, I even my JAPANESE friends say I'm super easy to find - think tall, Caucasian guy! But also, it's my voice - everyone I meet at concerts say they recognize my voice from all of my videos.......... LOL, it's got to be my Minnesota "accent" I guess??? kzbin.info/www/bejne/b4eYiKahmKaWaas

Mystic Dragon, I received your message this morning. For the record, I love Americans who are a "mash up" of cultures and identities! It makes relationships and friendships more rich and diverse, right? I hope you agree. I have no doubt we'll meet at some distant Vocaloid concert post-corona. I'll be listening for some unique sneezes! ;) Take care of yourself, and I hope that 2022 brings you and your family happiness, good health, and lots of smiles. Matane!

Rin Kagamine long before Miku Expo 2018, this is from MM 2015. I really needed the song in 2016. Hearing it a week ago brought all the memories of 2016 flowing back to me again. It was wonderful and painful. I was deeply moved two tears during both Dallas and Austin concerts.
@LoveJapan6 жыл бұрын
Rin Kagamine in all of the Dallas concert videos, especially those videos from the balcony, you can see my red glow stick front and center to the stage in VIP. I was the only one that had the red glow stick during this song. Since I know the song intimately, red is the color of choice for me when I heard this song performed last week.

Ummm.. do you have the full vid of the concert?.i really want to see the full one so badly r now xd
@LoveJapan4 жыл бұрын
Good morning Koume, I am so sorry, I do not have the full concert video. You know, I had additional 12 Vocaloid English-translated songs out on my Channel, but systematically, all of them have been taken down for copyright. It is an ongoing problem, and growing worse with time. I have basically stopped producing english translated songs for Vocaloid now, due to the copyright problems. I spend weeks translating and subtitling a song, only to lose it for copyright. VERY FRUSTRATING. So bottom line, it will be hard for you to find 2015 Magical Mirai concert. So sorry. Stay safe and stay healthy, thanks for the message.

What song was in your intro. That piano version of glow
@LoveJapan4 жыл бұрын
Hi Vicerine, yes, exactly, it is the "off-vocal" arrangement of "Glow". Call it the "karaoke" version of Keeno's classic. I hope you're well, and thanks for listening to my video. Stay healthy!

I don't understand how this song should be dedicated to losing a relative or a lover since the lyrics are so heartless
@LoveJapan7 жыл бұрын
I think this is why Vocaloid songs are so powerful - they have different interpretations to their meanings based on the individual listener. Circumstances in life, work, relationships - all can change the individual meanings of music - and Vocaloid music is no different. These lyrics might be interpreted by you as "heartless" while others might interpret them differently. Anyway, I am hopeful that you have a great day, Zoey. Thanks for watching.

If you've ever dealt with loss, you'd know how hard it is to let go of them, and you wish you could so the pain would stop. I think that's more what the song was trying to say.
