Amazing game to watch but really a shame from the crowd to boo Richardson who has in my opinion one of the most likeable personalities of all tour players. Great respect from both in the end.

I agree, Mikuru is head and shoulders above the rest of the Ladies already because she plays week in week out against the men in the soft tip leagues in her country. The commentators saying silly things like They have shown what they can do now! is rubbish, only Mikuru has shown what she can do, the rest are no where.

To not have 2 clears legs is an absolute joke, for each darts game. When will the PDC finally realize this? Instead of getting more and more players into the field which nobody knows they should make the game more fair. Feel sorry for her, so talented.

PDC, the system of the tournament is so bad. All the good players go out in 2nd round, because the players, which have played and obviously won in 1st round, could get used to the stage or sth. I don't want to see the shitty 93 averages all of the tournament, while the good players like Smith or White could easily play over 100. But they have to get used to the stage or sth. and that's why they lose their 2nd round matches. Create a system that everybody has to play the same amount of games. Otherwise it will be a boring competition in the end...
@jans3110
@jans3110 5 жыл бұрын
Look at Peter Wright the last two world championships... Did you ever heard anything of Jamie Lewis or Alcinas the last two years on stage tournaments?? No, but they were able to beat Peter, because they already had a game on this stage

Many in the crowd are brainless idiots for booing Richardson at the end and on crucial doubles. Richardson wasnt at his best as he played patchy, Mikuru is easily the best Ladies player and showed what SHE could do. It wasnt quite good enough and she went out in round 1. Richardson will have to up his game against Hendo. The rest of the ladies have lots of improvement to make to catch Mikuru as she showed them how to play darts in the BDO world final last year. Maybe if they had to qualify against the men to get into the Grandslam and the Worlds as they ought to do, they may improve? Gifting them places and denying proven better male players a chance to compete is not the way to go. Mikuru has improved because she plays week in week out against male players in the soft tip leagues in her country. You must earn the right to play in these big events and being gifted a spot and the huge prizemoney that goes with it by only playing against other females where the standard is a lot lower and less dense is not the way to motivate or improve the overall standard in the Ladies game. Darts like snooker or pool is or should be a gender neutral sport in any case as male players have no physical advantages like in most other sports.
