If it was wasn't for Top Rank uploading this gems I wouldn't have known of the mastery and craft of countering of Melindo. What a enjoyable fight to watch. Fighters like this is why I love boxing.

Kind of random. Melindo might still be somewhere fighting now, but he had fine career. Was an excellent fighter at his best.

@@decidingpaper6324 I thought it would have been on the undercard for one of Pacquiao's fights in Macao, but I was wrong. I think the main event was Gallo - Viloria. Melindo... top 15-20ish from Philippines?? Is that too high for him? That was a great shot! Right on the chin but Seran was out of his league in this one.

@@LucieOne Someone in the comments noted that Seran had a bad habit of dropping his hands in close. That’s what did him in.

So you have expensive ringside seats but spend your time looking at your phone, turning your back on the ring while chatting, and looking like you’d rather be anywhere else. Why bother showing up? Very disrespectful to the fighters. Give your seats away to some underprivileged kids. Go home and watch Oprah.

Tommy Seran had a terrible habit of dropping his hands on the inside. Even when he throws a punch he'd immediately drop that hand instead of putting it back up onto his guard. No wonder that looping right hook was finding home all day.

Queria dar la enhorabuena a Melindo por su trabajo para ese combate muy tecnico y muy duro sólo que al mi parecer tuvo mala suerte en el intercambio de los golpes pero eso es algo del boxeo
