Lightning crackled across the sky, lighting up the area as Starlight sat down under a tree. She watched as the rain fell, a soft drizzling noise mixed with the occasional thunder was heard over her own breathing. As she looked up at the darkened sky, tears started to flow down her cheeks. She felt a cold chill run down her spine as the rain continued, feeling guilty. ‘Am I really….’ her mind went numb. The memories started flowing through her head. When she first met Twi- the purple alicorn and her friends in her village. How that same alicorn took her under her wing and showed her friendship, the very thing she rejected since she was a filly after her friend Sunburst got his cutie mark and left her to go to Celestia’s school. Her friendship with Trixie, seeing Sunburst again after so many years, being taught how strong the power of friendship is by Tw- “Gahhhh!!” Starlight screamed as she slammed her blood-covered hooves on the ground, harsh sobs emitting from her throat. “IT’S NOT FAIR! WHY IS THIS HAPPENING TO ME?! WHY! WHY! WHYYYYYYY!!!!” Tears flowed down much harder as she continued to cry, the rain dampening the soil, causing her hooves to sink in. She gasped for air from her crying and in that moment, her guilt and remorse was replaced with rage. “I’ll show them. I’ll get a new horn and make them pay! THEY’LL ALL PAY!” Starlight started cackling, showing just how far gone the mare is. After gaining enough air back into her lungs, Starlight stood up and, after making sure nopony followed her, started walking deeper into the woods. She would get her revenge, once she got a new horn that is, and she knew just the mare. Now the only problem is, how can she get to her victim without being caught? Starlight smiled, she’ll find a way. She always finds a way.
