@@StirlingSoap Hi Rod, I'm waiting for Top of the Chain in Canada to get Mountain Man Aftershave Lotion. Ive tried many other companies and they tend to leave a greasy film on the skin, unless one buys Geo. Trumper Skinfood and we're talking $40 for a small bottle. Maybe one day Stirling will put out an equivalent. Cheers!

Two things: this is a great demonstration video to explain the differences. I live in a medium space, I don't do more than a pass, but watching the video I can tell I would benefit from a more aggressive razor. Secondly, I'm a huge fan of dupe scents and Deton-8 is simply awesome. All of the dupes I've had from y'all are fantastic. Thanks for the great content

I've just recently became aware of the Stirling ST and HA. After watching numerous video reviews by various people, I knew I had to have it. I love aggressive and extremely efficient safety razors. I love the auditory feedback. It really "sings". Looking forward to receiving my order... first time customer. Yes, I wish it was American made, but I have no doubt the quality will still be outstanding being a Stirling branded product. And it does save the buyer a significant amount of cash. Especially since funds are much "tighter" for everyone. So glad you brought it back Rod. Thank-you! P.S. Great Videos! Keep Them coming!

Great video and comparison of different efficiency razors. I love my Stirling razor, glad I got one just used it too soon in my shave journey so it left me intimidated by it. Been slowly using it on the regular head but haven't tried the HA plate yet until I get the other one down. It's a little harder shaving the head. I love your products. Have a great day and weekend all at Stirling.

Thanks, Mike! Head shaving is certainly more difficult with a DE just due to tightness of the scalp and the relatively thin skin compared to cheeks. Plus, you can really let the blood flow on a head shave if you aren't careful.

Good evening (UK time) Rod and Mandy!!! Another awesome video by awesome people you both are. The baili razor was my first safety razor purchase in gold finish under the name kanzy. I've done 70 shaves with it and no matter what blade I've used that thing doesn't cut. The Stirling razor has a monster gap, it looks like you were inspired from grand Canyon while designing it🤭, it's definitely a not every day shaving razor. It would tempt me to grow a one week beard and then destroy it with this weapon. I generally love blade feel in my razor, my favorite is the muhle rocca but still the gap it has is half of the Stirling razor. Another interesting video would be Stirling shaving brushes presentation, size comparison on camera, specs, special features of each and recommendations. Love you all❤❤❤

I am still experimenting with more "aggressive" razors, but my skin always seems to act up post shave with them, in contrast to the ones with less blade gap/exposure. I just wish that wasn't the case, since I am unable to get very close shaves with "mild" razors, especially on the head where the hair is pretty dense.
@StirlingSoap2 жыл бұрын
For me, it requires being able to use very little pressure against the skin. When I get in a hurry and start letting the razor sit too far into my skin, I get irritation as well.

Hi Rod, I'm late to the party. The only options available on the website are aggressive razor head and Safety razors with aggressive head. Would you be kind enough to shed some light on the aggressiveness of the aggressive head. Is it similar to HA ?
@StirlingSoap Жыл бұрын
The aggressive head on the website is not in the same conversation as the stainless steel hyper aggressive head. It is very mild by comparison, but then again most razors are.
@bobak5126 Жыл бұрын
I love the twist to open design concept, but I can't seem to get a decent shave with them, because of blade chatter. I get the best shaves with Razorock Game Changer 68p, which fees like it holds the blade with 0 chatter.
@bobak51268 ай бұрын
@SharpsBox actually I need to revise my post. I have since learned to shave with Rockwell T2 by “riding the bar” or having the handle almost perpendicular to my face. I’m still inconsistent on this but have been getting irritation free shaves occasionally. So I’m now thinking it’s the blades and the technique

@StirlingSoap2 ай бұрын
@@danspicer6313 It's definitely trickier on your head than on your face using a DE to shave due to the lack of fatty tissue on the scalp. Makes it much easier to cut your scalp, so you've got to be pretty good with a DE to shave your head. I prefer a slant DE razor on my scalp.

Just got the pumpkin spice aftershave, great scent! Any chance of an EDT version?
@StirlingSoap2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I'm glad you're enjoying it. It's unfortunately not going to be made as an EdT though. If it gets any more concentrated than it already is in the aftershave, it's likely to cause skin irritation thanks to the cinnamon and clove.

Will Tsuka be a regular scent in the future? Have you ever considered a limited availability SEC team inspired soap offering?
@StirlingSoap2 жыл бұрын
It's likely going to stay a limited edition scent that comes around every couple of years. If I get enough requests, it'll at least make a seasonal appearance. As for SEC team inspired scents, I would love to. However, they charge an arm and a leg for the rights to do that under official license, and we're just not big enough to justify the cost.
