Mildenhall MX Ltd is the site of Bury St Edmunds top motocross attraction.
Since 1992, hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers from Mildenhall, Bury St Edmonds, Colchester, Ipswich, Milton Keynes, Norwich, Cambridge, and beyond have passed through our gates, mounted one of our pit bikes, and enjoyed the thrill that only comes from high-speed MX racing.
The Mildenhall site has existed as a dirt bike racing venue for over 25 years, its original course laid out by MX legends, Stuart and Carl Nunn. When we bought the centre in 2003, we were careful to keep that course at the heart of our plans for the place. In 2018, Justin Barclay and Alfie Smith had the unenviable task of improving on the design, giving the whole course a full revamp, and preparing it for use by a whole new generation of dirt bike racers from beginners on our motocross practice track to expert riders.
All levels of dirt bike and motocross riders welcome
At Mildenhall MX Ltd we cater for every level of ability and experience. Turn up at the track and you’ll see six-year old kids spinning their wheels on the motocross practice track, as well as lifelong racers trying to beat their personal bests on the main track. Whatever your level, there will be someone here to help you, providing the technical advice and moral support to get you moving.
At Mildenhall MX Ltd, nothing is more important to us than the safety of our customers, which is why we have gone to such pains to set up a secure and safe environment suitable for beginners and experts alike, including our motocross practice track.
Of course, nobody can prevent every accident: this is, after all, a motor sport. However, we can ensure that you are in the safest of hands in the event of the occasional fall or slip on the circuit. All our track marshals are industry veterans and hand-picked for their diligence with emphasis on motor sport injuries, they are fully trained in emergency resuscitation and first aid. Their experience is supplemented by an on-site paramedic and medics with full training.
The centre includes washing stations for cleaning your bike and shower facilities for cleaning yourself! We also offer an on-site cafeteria when you’re in need of a pit stop, as well as a burger van if you fancy a quick snack on the move.
An entire day of exciting motocross racing on our main track for adults and professionals will set you back £40 and £35 for kids, we also have a younger rider only track which is available at the cost of just £30 for the day.
During the winter, we are open between 10:00 and 15:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
During the summer, we are open between 10:00 and 16:00 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
While there is no need to book ahead of time, if the weather is looking particularly bad, we recommend calling us on 01638 718667 (track opening times) or 07815 826133 to confirm that the centre will be open that day.
