Some jurisdictions don't allow red stop signs to be used on roads owned by companies, HOA's etc, so you can buy Orange, Green, Blue, really whatever, just not red. Others allow red stop signs on private property if they're smaller or larger than the legal-sized stop sign. I've also seen green stop signs at some National or State Parks.
