Hi Mike. I have a friend that lives in El Paso. About 1:15 into the video, you passed the exit for Eastlake Blvd. He lives about a mile or so from I-10 off of Eastlake. I have been to see him many times and this area is very familiar to me. I live in central New Jersey. Love watching your videos!

OMG what an interchange as one enters the SE side of El Paso. I never realized the entire metro area shared with Mexico was so incredibly large. From an east coaster that has never been in that region, thank you for another Great Video!

I passed through that area for the first time last March. A road trip from east Texas to Phoenix. Spent the night in Ft Stockton on the way. People have told me that there's nothing to see out that way. They are wrong. Beautiful open country there 👍

Having disposed of I-20 and I-30 (and US 80 and 90), you've also dispatched Texas. Good to see TxDOT sent a few of those Texas-sized interchanges out West. At least they kept US 180. Another of those somewhat forgotten roads: US 54, which once went from Chicago to El Paso. Now it ends at I-72 near Pittsfield, IL. But you can take US 62 all the way back to Niagara Falls.

I had to go back and correct what I said on my deleted comment! This Video by Mileage Mike Is NUMERO UNO! Yeah! This video is the best one yet I've ever seen of I10, and with all the previous. And the most latest of I10 construction over a decade now. This video sure does help, by seeing all the progress that El Paso has completed. With much more on the way! From I10 starting around where the Amazon Distribution Center is on the right side of I10. All the way down west to the New Mexico state Line! Work on the El Paso I10 corridor wont be completed until the I10 downtown Deck Plaza is completed somewhere in 2029/2030! Kudos to you Mr. Mileage Mike for an Outstanding Video!

Lived on Waddell Drive in Fayetteville before Dad got quarters in Fort Bragg where my family lived at 11-F Bastogne Drive. It was truly a wonderful place. Kids could run about without fear of anyone hurting them. I remember the Day & Night Supermarket in Fayetteville, a Texaco Gas Station where we could bring in soda bottles and then be able to purchase penny candy. Military holidays were great ... parades, kids with harnesses and where we were allowed to jump off of a high platform ... we felt we were paratroopers, and the fire works ! I attended Butner Elementary School in 1961-1963 and remember being sent home in 1962 when President Kennedy was shot. Educators wanted our parents to tell us what had happened and we were all glued to our black and white Silvania television set. Loved NC and I always will !!! ALWAYS FORT BRAGG TO ME & NEVER FORT LIBERTY !!!

And there are still 3 more large “speghetti bowls,” as we call them here, or complex interchanges in the northeast side of the metro. Love El Paso. Absolutely unique in culture & history.
