You were just two miles from my exit. The next exit was Moody, Alabama, I was hoping you'd get that far, but it just wasn't meant to be, I guess. Love your videos!

Great video as always! I’m surprised 20/59 is only four lanes through the suburbs for that long I don’t travel on it often. I’ll be down in Birmingham (Mountain Brook) next week and I’ll try to film the whole drive from Charlotte!
@kennypalermo90713 жыл бұрын
Is that the first time here in Birmingham?

Safe travels, that's quite the trip, especially through Atlanta.

@@MileageMikeTravels Thanks Mike. Will do. Atlanta is always the nightmare. I usually sit on 85 and 20 straight through downtown. 285 is just as bad if not worse usually!

Funny thing, I traveled through Atlanta from Charlotte a couple of years ago, heading to Birmingham. I usually go I-95 to Florence SC then ride 20 on over. Not sure why I chose this route. Anyway It was during the height of the pandemic, and I passed through the Atlanta connector at 65 mph on a weekday at 4pm. Like a ghost-town all things considering. I originated my trip one day earlier from Williamston NC.
@thesharinganknight2 жыл бұрын
If 20/59 are concurrent, why is Atlanta the smaller exit? And why is I-20 exiting, the lower the number the more weight it holds. I think Alabama is being provincial

Nice video! I like this highway, at least its not like Florida, with a lot of construction everywhere.
@williamwilkins30843 жыл бұрын
Well, that's mainly because the population is not growing there like it is in Florida.

It was completely shut down through downtown for like 2 years straight back in 2018 or so. It used to be awful. Road work everywhere. They’re just now starting to complete all the roadwork across the state. You should’ve seen Alabama back in the 2000’s the roads were death traps. They hardly did any work at all from 1978ish until 2016 honestly lmao it’s soooo much better than it used to be
