WOW! I have to say this scene is incredible!!! Stephanie should be a mafia Don, lol! I think Stephanie is correct in this, you don't just invade someones space and think they'll conform. But There is a point she made and forgot, Ridge is doing this too. Book is a impulsive daydreaming romantic and doesn't seem to understand that she's stepping on MANY toes. I understand why Stephanie thinks shes a gold-digger.

Stephanie's hatred of Brooke came down to two main issues: 1. Brooke hid the letter from Ridge to Caroline and ultimately she married Thorne. All the bad stuff that happened afterwards (Thorne shooting Ridge; the eventual divorce) was probably linked to that one misdeed in Stephanie's mind. Had that been it, I think Stephanie could have gotten over it. 2. Beth's affair with Eric which Brooke not only knew about but actively encouraged. There are numerous scenes even in '87 where good girl Brooke was practically giddy that Beth and Eric we're seeing each other. That's pretty shady and I don't think Stephanie could get passed that. So when problems continued with Stephanie and Eric even after Beth moved to Paris, Brooke was blamed. Say what you want about Brooke but no one can argue with the observation that Brooke was opportunistic. Even at the beginning she was obsessed with the Forresters and Dave called her out on it a few times.

If she had been a regular employee she would have had a contract and the company would acquire the patent. Because Brooke had a solid claim, she acquired 51% of the company after working there for a year. Did she earn it? -debatable.

Actually, Stephanie -indeed- worked for it. Her father may have had some wealth, sure, but she proved herself with Eric when they built the company off the small loan they had. To say Stephanie didn't earn anything is absurd. Caroline? I can agree with her being born into wealth because that's exactly what happened. At least you can give Caroline credit for actively seeking work on her own after the first wedding with Ridge rather than continuing to live in the ivory tower.

I do believe she loved ridge in her own selfish way..he did inspire her to grow outside of her own head.. she just lacked boundaries because she slept with any man she wanted regardless of who it hurt.. that’s not good in the real world or fantasy.. then people start thinking this behavior is real or acceptable..but thank goodness these characters are just characters or not real folks..
